This is part of the last column of the late Hong Se-hwa.
The relationship between nature, animals, and humans is not about growth, but about maturity.


In "Ice Mountain Shaved Ice Shop," the old man dreams of infinite growth.
In the end, the growth of the shaved ice shop that the old man had been pursuing ended only after the ice mountain disappeared.
But the man's business idea doesn't end here and moves into the sea.
I made 'Sea Salt Grandpa Juice'.
Will there ever come a day when sea water disappears like an iceberg?

Some people might applaud the old man's business acumen after reading this picture book.
But the old man doesn't have the heart to 'coexist'.
As Professor Hong Se-hwa said, we must now move away from growthism and seek mature relationships.


While running a shaved ice shop, I wanted to do it in a way that was least damaging to nature, so that animals could live together without leaving.
I hope that everyone who reads this book will think seriously about it at least once.
