“If you want something, you have to draw a picture of it specifically.”

The author says that he started writing 'Dream Notes' after meeting three people who knew him by chance during his difficult training camp days.
He wrote down in his notebook the people he would meet and the things he needed to remember, and from there, he decided to 'write down whatever he wanted about what would happen in the future so that coincidences could become inevitabilities.'
Amazingly, everything he wrote in his notebook, including joining a military musical, joining the Armed Forces Public Relations Support Corps, and performing on a comfort train, actually came true.
Even at that time, I wrote down things like ‘what I want to do after being discharged from the military’, ‘magazine, business, fashion…’, and even that came true.


“Writing down what I want in my dream notebook gave me a reason to do it, gave me the courage to do it, and gave me the belief that I could do it.
Actually, the really important point is this.
Because you have the belief that 'I wrote it in my dream note, so this must happen,' you take action to make it happen.
“I know full well that nothing miraculously happens when you just sit still, so I take action to find opportunities and achieve what I want, and that’s exactly what I did at that time.” (p. 78)

The author said about this time and the experience of ‘Dream Note’, “Thanks to Dream Note, I realized that if I keep talking and writing, I can actually move in the direction I want.
So even now, I often say out loud what I want,” he says.
