People usually try to think rationally and sensibly, and they believe they should.
To those who don't, they usually sarcastically say, "That's weird," or "Does that make sense?"
In fact, the author of this book also grew up receiving this kind of education.
I received the most sensible and reasonable home education from my parents, and I grew up watching them do that.
But at some point, I realized that rationality and common sense become shackles for those who dream of success.
In some ways, to be successful, you must be irrational, illogical, and unconventional.

Into the book
Input usually refers to putting information or knowledge into the head, and output refers to the results that are obtained when they are outputted.
So, when we think of input, we usually think of static images like studying or learning, and output is considered to be the somewhat dynamic result created from that.
But my opinion is just the opposite.
Input is about experiencing things through sweating in the field, putting them into practice in real life, and repeating the experience of failure and success.
And the resulting enlightenment, wisdom, and know-how are the true output.
These outputs will then change the next input.
Now that you've figured something out, you can input in a more efficient and smarter way.
Then, the cost-effectiveness will gradually increase, and at some point, you will reach the point where you can ‘see ten by seeing one.’

--- pp.33-34

For example, if you input 100, only 10 or 20 will be output, and even 0.5 may come out.
From our perspective, it's really unfair.
I tried hard, but the results didn't seem proportional, so it seemed like my efforts were in vain and I wasted my time.
This is where the point of disappointment and frustration arises.
This is because you think, 'Hey, I put 100 in this and it only came out as 0.5? Why are you doing this?'

But in fact, 99.5 doesn't disappear without meaning.
It begins to accumulate in my unconscious, seeping into small habits, and soon becomes the starting point of an explosive, large output.
If this process is repeated, at some point, a surprising result will be produced where 100 will pop out even if only 0.5 is entered.
The 'capable people' we see are not great people.
They are just people who have endured overwhelming input that seems boring and reckless.

--- pp.37-38

Everyone wants success and a better life, but the process isn't always endlessly difficult and painful.
Once you start seeing some results, Mate's Law kicks in and operations become easier, requiring less energy while still achieving greater results.
Of course, in order to achieve this state, one's attitude itself must be an 'attitude restaurant' that is active and positive, and a 'patience restaurant' that can endure even difficult and challenging times.
It won't be easy, but it's not impossible.
It is no exaggeration to say that this is a necessary condition to get on the wave of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer that dominates this world.

--- p.98

Instead of saying, "Come to Deodingle to study," it was more like, "Come to Deodingle to knit," or "Come to Deodingle to watch a movie."
It was a complete paradigm shift that transformed study cafes into spaces where people could satisfy their tastes and pursue their hobbies.
Ultimately, as we opened the doors to Dudingle and began marketing, we were not confident, wondering, "Will there really be customers?"
Moreover, it was questionable whether law school or civil service exam preparation students who were really studying hard would come to the Ddingle, which had white desks.

But my expectations were completely off the mark.
The first four clients who signed up at once were all preparing for law school.
When I first heard that someone had made a tentative payment, I was suspicious that they might have made a mistake and made the payment.
From this point on, I began to have confidence in the possibility of Dudingle's success, and today, we are achieving the unimaginable record of having over 40 branches.
--- p.118

When a director posts on his blog about his struggles, concerns, achievements, and passion for children, he is promoting his philosophy and values and branding himself.
By seeing the director's photos and hearing his story, parents come to understand the values and philosophy of the academy and become strong fans of the brand.

One director I consulted writes about his parenting story on his academy blog.
Of course, this is not the main point, but it is a very good point to understand the brand of the director.
Wouldn't we be able to trust the director who educates children while also having a difficult time raising them, just like any other mother?
--- p.154

In fact, the places currently under management are Daechi-dong and Junggye-dong in Seoul, Bundang in Gyeonggi-do, Suseong-gu in Daegu, and Yongho-dong in Busan.
All of these are school districts with excellent academies.
Even parents living in Eunma Apartments, which can be said to be in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul, are inquiring about sending their children to the school.
At this point, there is no need to fear the school district at all.
You can be confident that 'academy marketing + branding', which has already been proven numerous times, can be achieved.

Everyone would agree that 'nothing in this world is easy.'
But just because it's not easy doesn't mean there's no way or secret.
It's all about how immersive you can be, how overwhelming it can be, and how much of a positive influence you can have on the good people around you and how you can put your resolutions into action.

--- p.193

Although we may think that we are in complete control of our lives, the people around us actually have a huge impact on our life path.
This is especially true when it comes to the academy business, which involves doing business with a small number of people.
So, the more important part is philosophy and culture.
If you can keep this in mind and consistently develop your instructors, you can expect a very positive outlook.

Publisher's Review
“What is so reckless about this person?”

The author did not use any rational process or common sense methods from the time he first started tutoring in college, to running a study room, and then gradually developing it into a private academy business.
Perhaps, listening to the author's story in this book, you might think, 'How can someone be so reckless?'
For example, when he first opened the academy, he didn't even know the 'ㅎ' in academy.
But I just went to a real estate agency and signed a monthly rental contract, and from then on, I started thinking about how to hire instructors and how to run the business.
After I was discharged from the military, I received an inquiry about a math lecture from a high school senior.
At the time, he had forgotten a significant portion of his high school senior curriculum, so it was reasonable and normal that he should not be teaching, but he said he could teach, and from that night on, he paid for online lectures and studied like crazy.
In this way, the author is not the type to aim at the target and then shoot, but rather to adjust the target after shooting.
It can be seen that this was a series of reckless actions of ‘saying I can’t do something’ rather than a rational and common-sense process of ‘doing what I can do’.

The results of this recklessness, which are too numerous to list in detail, were sweet.
Currently, after 14 years of running study rooms and academies, we are operating control academies in Beomeo, Suseong-gu, Daegu, Hyeonpung 1 and 2 in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, Gyeongsan 1 and 2 in Daegu, and Magok, Seoul.
He has accumulated 500 consulting cases for academies and is currently managing 60 academies through academy rebranding project.

In 2024, we opened a 50-pyeong office in Daechi-dong, Gangnam, known as the 'number one private education district', and are currently participating in the 'Prison' managed Daechi headquarters business.
In addition, we created our own brand of study cafe, ‘The Dingle’, and opened around 40 branches nationwide. We plan to operate more directly managed academies as well as high-end PT shops in the future.

He says the key to all this success is the 'Nopakku spirit' of going straight toward the goal without looking back.
Just by 'not giving up', the power of growth accumulates and success will surely explode someday.
Moreover, despite his young age, the author constantly sought to meet people more successful than himself, talked to them directly, and followed them to gain their know-how.
Each of them had a different secret to success, but they all had one thing in common.

It was also a solid execution that did not fail.
It wasn't just about executing something easy that could be done.
Anyone who saw it would see that it was an irrational and unconventional execution.
It was the challenge that made everyone ask, "Does this make sense?", the constant anxiety that kept them going, the fear that kept them going, and the fear that kept them going.

The reason I wrote this book is to shatter the thoughts and minds of those who, even today, are unable to take action due to countless worries and concerns, and who always feel regret, give up, and are disappointed.
I confidently say that when you achieve overwhelming input and output, your life can change day by day and you can enter the path to success.
He especially offers his honest advice and encouragement to young people who, like him, are just starting out with nothing.

Moreover, the study room-academy business he has been running up until now is an ideal field for learning sales and marketing.
Sales and marketing are essential to any job or business in the world.
So, no matter what you're doing now or planning to do, this book will reveal interesting sales and marketing insights you can apply to your field.
Through this book, "Introduction to Nopakuhak," I hope that you will gain confidence and hints for success through the "shortcut to success that moves forward without hesitation through execution power and mental management," as proven by CEO Lee Dong-heon through his own life.

He says this:
“Everyone’s life becomes hell at one point.
Certain events can create hell, and there are also long periods of unbearable pain.
But if you look at it from a macro perspective, this is also survival training.
Those who have not experienced harsh environments cannot learn how to survive, and those who have not experienced despair cannot truly understand the true value of effort and hope.
My life, too, has been a constant cycle of failure and success.
At first, the amplitude was so great that it was difficult to come to my senses, but as I gained experience and developed my own wisdom within it, the amplitude has now decreased significantly.
Looking back, the entire process was a period of harsh training for survival.
If you are having a hard time, feeling worried, and suffering in your life right now, you can consider that you are doing very well.
After that period, the fog will finally clear and the path will become visible little by little.”
