Book Introduction
Every Sunday from February to July 2025.
We sat together in a small bookstore and wrote.
The topic was not set.
Under the name of 'Write Anything', we carefully pulled out memories that had been suppressed in our hearts for a long time.
There were pains that were once difficult to face, and there were relationships and pasts that I still couldn't let go of.
Writing has always reflected me like a mirror.
While writing, I went back and forth between the past and the present, facing myself then and myself now.
Even a small word brought laughter, and an old memory brought tears to my eyes.
This book is a collection of those stories.
Rather than special events, I took scenes from everyday life that everyone experiences and compiled them into an essay.
So it is a more universal, and therefore more personal record.
If there is someone who reads it, these words may serve as a substitute for someone's memory or gently touch a forgotten heart.
I hope my confession will bring comfort to someone, and that someday your memories will also be written down.
Perhaps one day the next pages of this book will be filled with your sentences, my reader and colleague.

It's enough to just take a paragraph or a sentence and close it for a moment.
How was this book written?
- Every Sunday at 10:00 AM, from February to June.
The two of them sat down, decided on a topic for the day on the spot, and each wrote a piece.
- I retired for two months after that.
I took a few sentences, took a deep breath, and refined them into silence.
It was harder than writing, but that made it clearer.
Some ways to help you breathe through this book
- Like a cat: Don't scan quickly, stay still.
Please look at the sentence that your gaze stopped on for a long time.
- Between indifference and affection: Please allow your feelings to come first before interpreting them.
Please respect even sentences you don't understand, just like the cat that passed you by today.
- Use of margins: Margins are not silence, they are the reader's space.
Underline, note, star… Add some color to your day.
A little experiment for readers
- Write along: Write randomly for 5 minutes on each chapter's 'topic'.
- Random Open: Open to any page in the morning and let the first sentence be your cue for the day.
- Walking notes: Write down any sentences that come to mind while walking on your phone or a notepad.
Next time you read, try connecting that sentence with another sentence in the book.
