Let's go to Dalsland with Dalpyeong!

Today is the day when Dalpyeong, the 27th generation descendant of the Urung family, meets his friends for the first time in a while.
It was great to show off and call a sparrow taxi, but the strong wind caused me to fall into the school flower bed.
Even the shell imbued with magic will crack slightly in that wind.


It was Yoon-i, who was still in the daycare classroom, who discovered Dal-pyeong, unconscious and sprawled on the grass.
As soon as Yoon-i sees Dal-pyeong, she quickly brings a band-aid and puts it on.
Perhaps thanks to Yoon-i's devoted care, Dal-pyeong finally regains consciousness and begins to move slowly.
After seeing that, Yun-i finally calms down.
“Phew, that’s a relief.
“Go back to your friends quickly.”

In fact, Yuni is one of the two children who remain in the daycare classroom until the very end.
The other child is Hyuk, a troublemaker, meddler, and show-off.
Yuni hates staying late at the after-school care classroom, but she hates spending that time with Hyuk even more.
After the kids leave, Hyuk follows Yoon around and annoys him.

“Hic, da, the snail is talking.” Surprised for a moment, Yoon-i swallows the blue fruit Dalpyeong gave her in return for offering to take her to a fun place.
Then, in a flash, Yoon-i's body shrinks to the size of Dal-pyeong.
Mr. Dalpyeong takes Yuni somewhere in a sparrow taxi.
He didn't even know that Hyuk was watching him.


We finally arrived at Dalsland, a snail playground nestled in the bushes behind the school garden! It's not the new amusement park Hyuk-i visited, but it's still an amusement park! Will Yoon-i be able to have fun at Dalsland and return home?

The Mary Poppins of the snail world, Dalpyeong, is back!

Dalpyeong, the Mary Poppins of the snail world, who played the role of Kongi's housekeeper(?) in the previous work, "Welcome, Dalpyeong", and the triplets' caregiver(?) in "Run Away, Dalpyeong", has returned.

The friend who met Dalpyeong this time is Yooni, a regular at the care classroom.
Yoon-i is a friend who always stays in the after-school care class until the end because her parents are busy.
I haven't even been to the new amusement park that Hyuk bragged about going to first.
I didn't respond because I didn't want to see Hyuk acting so arrogant, but Yoon-i also really wants to go to the new amusement park.
Mr. Dalpyeong takes Yuni to Dalsland, an amusement park for snails.
Dalsland is full of rides you've never heard of, including the spinning mushroom, the King's Roller Coaster that runs on pumpkin vine rails, the Bubble Pang Pang that lets you float around on soap bubbles, and the Minga Drop that lets you jump down on a Minga parachute.
Is that all?
A drink made with morning dew, rose berries, and honey has a unique flavor that I have never tasted before.
I don't think the new amusement park will be any more fun than this.

But Yoon-i's magical day faces a crisis when Hyuk-i appears.
'If that troublemaker sees that, he'll make a mess of Dalsland.' Yoon-i's heart aches, but in fact, Hyuk-i has come running to save Yoon-i.
I thought that Yoon-i had been kidnapped by Dal-pyeong.
Now that I think about it, it seems that the reason I followed Yoon around and annoyed him wasn't because I wanted to harass him.
Today, Yuni received three unexpected gifts.
I made a new friend named Dalpyeong, I was the first human child to go to Dalsland, and I made a new friend named Hyuk.


Writer Shin Min-jae, who was a lonely child like Yoon-i and a busy mother like Yoon-i's parents, seems to have wanted to give the countless Yoon-is in this world a 'magic' that can shake off their loneliness.
I hope that many children can experience the magic of bringing the magic of the owl, Mary Poppins, and Mr. Dalpyeong to their side, and the magic of finding friends to share the joy with around them.
