▷ A light-hearted stroll through space

“What is there in the sky?”
When the host asks, the parrot answers.
“You’ll know when you go.”
The host and the parrot boarded the spaceship without any problems.
And so begins the space travel of the host and the parrot.
As we leave the blue planet Earth, our bodies float up like balloons.
Soon after, the spacecraft docks with the space station and delivers packages to the astronauts living there.
The spacecraft, having left the space station, flies past the far side of the moon, where no one has ever been, and toward the sun.
The journey continues through the solar system, passing through the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
The spaceship of Giju, which was traveling through our galaxy and the Milky Way, encounters a black hole and returns home.

Although it was a light-hearted trip, space travel cannot be easy.
As the moon passed by, the child seemed to see a moon rabbit.
It was too hot when we got close to the sun, and when we landed on Mars, we encountered a sandstorm.
I had to steer clear of asteroids and barely managed to avoid a comet that seemed like it would be over if it even grazed its tail.
Sometimes, the airship runs into trouble due to a fuel leak, and sometimes, it encounters a space monster somewhere in a distant galaxy.
It was a chaotic and tumultuous journey, but seeing the beautiful stars and galaxies made Ki-ju think that it was really worth coming to space.
Above all, it is great to come with my friend, the parrot, who loves this wonderful universe.

The author, who had so much fun with the space story that started while playing with a toy airplane with her child, decided to revive that memory and create a space travel picture book.
Above all, I thought it would be great if it were a book that could make space travel fun to imagine, and that if it were, children who read the book would also have greater interest and knowledge about space than they do now.
The 96-page thick picture book, “I’ll Go to Space and Come Back,” is a book structured like that.
