Into the book
The most important fundamental when reading the Minor Arcana is to know the four attributes (four elements) that make up the Minor Arcana: Wands, Pentacles, Swords, and Cups.
When understanding the diagram that follows, your future reading ability will depend on how much you can expand the image of each attribute.

--- p.16 From “The most important basics for understanding the minor arcana - the 4 attributes”

3 is the trinity where points become planes and finally achieve a stable state, and is a number related to God, such as the three types of divine beings.
In Wands 2, a man who had been unable to decide to embark on an adventure sets out on a journey with high hopes.
The Pentacles represent a craftsman consulting with the Lord of Time and creating something, while the Cups represent three beauties celebrating.
Let's remember them as 'craftsman cards' and 'congratulatory cards' respectively.
Most cards have positive meanings when they are upright, but Swords is different.
It brings about the ‘blooming of sorrow’ as if pain and separation are also necessary experiences.

--- p.25 From “Stability and Development Brought by the Number 3, the Number of God!”

Memorizing all 56 cards of the Minor Arcana is a very difficult task.
However, when organizing it into a diagram, I indicated each attribute on the horizontal axis, and the meaning of the numbers or the attributes of the court cards on the vertical axis.
So, if you can connect the dots where the horizontal and vertical lines meet and visualize the image, you'll be able to get to the answer the card offers without having to memorize the entire meaning.
By utilizing this method, you will find that the world of language surrounding a card, which was once limited to just a few keywords, is infinitely expanded.

--- p.56 From “If you can weave together images, you will see the answer”

A binary spread is a way to speculate on the future outcome of two options.
Shuffle the cards into one pile, discard the top 6 cards, and place the 7th card in position '1' below (arrange all cards face down).
Discard the top 6 cards of the prepared deck and place the 7th card in the '1' spot.
Again, discard 6 cards including the next card and similarly place the 7th card in the '2' position and the next card in the '3' position.
Repeat this by discarding 6 cards including the next card, placing the 7th card in the '4' spot, and the next card in the '5' spot.
Then the spread ends.

--- p.79 From "A Dichotomy Spread to Divinate Which Path to Choose"

As you become accustomed to reading cards for inspiration, you may find yourself saying things that seem unrelated to fortune telling, and even saying them out loud.
But in the end, those words often became important keys and were connected to something that happened to the customer later.
When I hear these stories later, I get goosebumps and a thrill thinking, 'The puzzle pieces fit together like this.'
Isn't this the fun of tarot card reading?
--- p.88 From "Love Part 2 - A word said without thinking can save someone, more than the result of a fortune-telling!"

Publisher's Review
More details on the Minor Arcana!
Easier and faster with storytelling-style interpretation!

Mimiko, a top fortune teller who has run a fortune telling salon in Daikanyama and Ebisu, Japan for over 12 years and has conducted over 10,000 consultations, suggests the "Mimiko Style" for those who find tarot card readings difficult, where she uses the "images" conveyed by the tarot cards to find answers without being tied down to the keywords of the cards.
『Tarot without Memorization 2 - "Minor Arcana" Edition』 is the author's second book, published in response to readers' requests for more detailed information on the Minor Arcana section, which was covered in a few pages in the previous book, 『Tarot without Memorization』.
In this book, the author weaves together the images contained in the 56 'Minor Arcana' cards into a 'story of a fool who gains enlightenment from the people he meets while adventuring through the world', helping anyone to easily immerse themselves in the world of Tarot by linking together the elements of each card without having to memorize all of its meanings.

The four attributes of the Minor Arcana cards
Let's connect the four elements and imagine an image!

In this book, the author provides tips for understanding the Minor Arcana cards by linking the four most important attributes to the four elements.
Just like the hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs of the trump cards, the PAGE, KNIGHT, QUEEN, and KING of the minor arcana cards also have four attributes (wands, pentacles, swords, and cups) and four corresponding elements (earth, wind, water, and fire).
When reading the Minor Arcana, it is very important to think of images associated with the attributes of these four elements.
That is, because pentacles have the properties of the earth, their image brings to mind things like stability, material abundance, possessions, and money.

In particular, if you think of images by linking the characteristics of each character, such as the servant, knight, queen, and king, with the attributes of the four elements, the meaning contained in each card will be clearly engraved in your mind.
Likewise, when reading number cards, it is important to expand the image of the number and broaden its scope.
As you expand the range of images you can recall by expanding the attributes and numbers contained in the cards, your tarot card reading will become more profound, making it easier to read the desired message.

If you can link the attributes and images contained in the diagram
You can read the story beyond the cards infinitely!

The author has combined the images of the four attributes and four elements contained in the number cards of the Minor Arcana and the images of the court cards, as well as the images of the numbers 1 through 10, and organized them into a chart at the back of this book.
Since it is difficult to memorize and read the meanings contained in each of the 56 cards, the horizontal axis organizes each attribute, and the vertical axis displays the meaning of the numbers or the attributes of the court cards. The part where the two axes meet is linked to create a diagram that makes it easy to recall the image.
This diagram will not only make it easier to understand the images contained in each card, but will also allow you to read the keywords of the card infinitely.
The author explains the story contained in the number card diagram so that it naturally enters the mind by matching it with the meaning of each number.

In other words, it suggests a method of reading by learning the flow of meaning contained in the number cards and then linking it with the attributes of the horizontal axis, and a method of interpreting by linking the attributes of each person contained in the court cards and visualizing them as events or people.
By linking the meanings of attributes and numbers through diagrams in this way, or linking the meanings of attributes and court cards to form images, you will be able to develop an interpretive application that can be applied to any question.

The book also introduces the 'either-or' spread, which involves unfolding the cards and choosing a path to take while reading the fortune, and the 'Celtic Cross spread,' the most popular spread.
Additionally, the author divides the case studies into love, interpersonal relationships, and work sections, sharing specific stories from his actual readings in the Mimiko style.
At the end, it includes a helpful table of keywords for the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana to help readers utilize them.
By the time you finish reading this book, you will find yourself using all the tarot cards freely and interpreting them with greater depth.
