A peaceful animal village deep in the mountains.
However, each animal has its own worries and complaints.
A small monkey wants to have nice muscles and strong arms, while a large hippopotamus wants to be slim like a giraffe.
On the other hand, owls who can't sleep at night wish to get a good night's sleep.
Then one day, a goat wizard appeared in the peaceful animal kingdom.
The goat wizard, dressed in fancy magical attire, approaches the monkey and gives him a “magic potion.”
And they whisper that if you just take this medicine, you will quickly become stronger and build great muscles.
He also whispers to the hippo that if he takes a “magic potion” he will become as thin as a deer in no time, and to the sleepless hippo that if he takes a “magic potion” he will be able to sleep soundly.
Then the monkey, hippopotamus, and owl were very happy and shouted, “Give me the medicine right now!”


This book is a children's storybook on drug misuse and abuse prevention developed by the Incheon Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters, which specializes in drug prevention education.
But it also helps children, adolescents, and even adults understand the dangers of drug abuse, as well as the secret to true happiness.
Especially these days, with children being pushed to study only, the mass media instilling the obsession that they must be pretty and slim, and weary modern people who only want quick and easy solutions rather than long-term solutions, this book makes us reflect on what the secret to true happiness is and what we are missing.
In that sense, it is a good book for the whole family to read together: mother and son, father and daughter.

This time the wizard approached a fat hippopotamus by the pond.
“Hippo, what’s bothering you?”
Then the hippopotamus said:
“Why am I so fat?
“I wish I were as slim as a giraffe or a deer.”

“Really? Then I have some weight loss pills for you. Do you want to try them?
“If you take this medicine, you will miraculously lose weight quickly.”
The hippopotamus, startled by the wizard's words, spoke loudly.
"Really, Wizard? Please give me that potion!"

“But, Hippopotamus, this medicine costs a lot of money.
If you don't have money, you can trade it for what you value most.

For example, you could trade it for your health.”

The hippopotamus thought for a moment.
And then he said:
“Health? I’m so healthy, it’s a disaster.
“Take my health if only I could be thin.”
The hippopotamus took weight loss medicine.
