Into the book
The Kuala Lumpur we experienced for a month was a city like a woman whose heart is truly unfathomable.
I thought it was just a flashy thing, but it had a deep inner meaning, and although it looked ordinary on the outside, it had a maturity that stemmed from life experience.
So, the more I looked into her layer by layer, the more I realized that she was a woman overflowing with an unfamiliar charm.
In this small city, we were able to experience everything from Chinese holidays and Indian religious life, to traces of the old Malay culture and modern smart city life.

I could truly feel that Kuala Lumpur is a melting pot of cultures, embracing such disparate aspects: graffiti art painted in the back alleys of dark restaurants, an old woman selling Indian orchids in front of Chinatown, quaint restaurants and modern cafes, and avant-garde high-rise buildings peeking out from among old buildings.
I think the best gift we can give our children while living abroad isn't English, but rather the ability to respect and live together with others.
