One day, a fox comes to Dr. DeSoto, a mouse and a dentist, crying and begging him to cure its toothache.
Mr. and Mrs. DeSoto hesitate for a moment and then fix the fox's teeth, but the fox decides that he will eat them once he finishes fixing their teeth.
When Mr. and Mrs. DeSoto noticed this, they came up with a trick and tightly closed the fox's jaws.
This book is full of wit and humor.

The fox licked the bird's teeth with his tongue.

'Hey, this feels really good!'

Then I thought to myself.

'I shouldn't eat these rats. But how could I resist?'

The fox's wavering mind, which knows what is right but cannot control its desires, is well expressed, so it is fun to read it to a child in an exaggerated voice.....
