Come to Rabbit Pharmacy
Description
Book Introduction
“Oh, what hurts you?”
What medicine should our animal friends take when they visit the rabbit pharmacy?
In a small forest village, there is a rabbit pharmacy for animal friends.
Many animal friends came to visit us today.
The first guest is a little panda.
You have a black eye.
You need to apply ointment! Gently apply the ointment to the bruise, being careful not to get it in your eye.
Read the instructions carefully, squeeze out an appropriate amount, and apply with a cotton swab.
The second guests are a family of kangaroos.
Both the mother kangaroo and the baby kangaroo have colds.
I'll give the potion to the kangaroo family.
The mother kangaroo drinks the big potion, and the baby kangaroo drinks the small potion.
After checking the scale, eat the specified amount.
The third guest is a baby pig.
You're not sick, but you want some vitamins? Here are some children's vitamins! They're sweet and delicious, but they're not candy.
Eating too much is not good.
The fourth guest is a little squirrel.
Oh, it's hard to take powdered medicine.
You want to eat it with a rich acorn juice? No way.
If you take medicine with water, the affected area will get better quickly.
The last guest is a peacock chick.
I heard you got hurt.
I'll put a band-aid on it.
But I have a promise to make.
It should only be applied when there is a painful wound.
If you leave it on for too long, your skin may itch or the wound may not heal quickly.
The rabbit pharmacist gave the right medicine to each animal guest.
What kind of guests will be visiting tomorrow?

Publisher's Review
“The medicine is bitter, so you shouldn’t take it with sweet juice!”
The dangers of drug abuse explained from a child's perspective
"Come to the Rabbit Pharmacy" contains information on precautions when taking medicine.
Children often catch fevers and other minor illnesses, such as colds.
And when I play with my friends, I get hurt here and there.
In those cases, don't you just habitually take whatever medicine you have at home? Do you choose your own medicine based on your own judgment, or, if you're really sick, do you take a lot of it regardless of the prescribed dosage? Or, to avoid the bitter taste of powdered medicine, do you drink it with sweet juice or milk instead of water?
Medicine is not something you should take carelessly just because you are sick.
You must take it according to the dosage and directions with your guardian.
With a prescription from a doctor or pharmacist.
If you eat a lot of medicine without thinking because you are sick, and stop taking medicine without thinking because you think you are better, it may not be good for your health.
This book tells you that you should take the medicine in the prescribed dosage according to your age and symptoms.
It also tells you that you should take it with water, not with beverages like juice or milk.
Have you ever had a child who, even though their injury has healed, just keeps sticking a cute character-themed Band-Aid on their wound because they think it's pretty? This book also warns that doing so can actually cause skin problems.
It also tells us that even children's vitamins, which are as delicious as candy, can be bad for you if you eat too much of them.
Children who read this book will not take medicine on their own or throw a tantrum about taking medicine with juice.
And I won't put on a band-aid unnecessarily.
After reading the book, there are fun and informative activity pages that help you remember the book's contents and learn the precautions to take when taking medicine.
