Conversations with God 3
Description
Book Introduction
The author of this book, Neale Donald Walsh, began having conversations with God on Easter 1992.
The first volume of "Conversations with God" was published in 1995 by a small publishing house called Hampton Roads in Charlottesville, USA, collecting stories about God that I heard over the course of a year.
The first 5,000 copies printed sold out in two months, and the subsequent 10,000 copies sold out in three months.
The book subsequently sold over 100,000 copies purely by word of mouth, landing on the Los Angeles Times bestseller list.
As the book became known, Putnam, a major publisher, published a hardcover version of the book, which led to increased sales across the United States, and it appeared on the bestseller lists of The New York Times and Publisher's Weekly.
In the case of [The New York Times], it continued to be a bestseller for over 130 weeks and was published in over 30 countries around the world.
According to Wendy Carlton, an editor at Putnam Press, “People were going into bookstores and buying 10 copies at a time.
They tell the salesperson, 'I read this book.
This book changed my life.
“I will give one to my husband, one to my son-in-law, one to my parents, and one… …” she said.
This book, which gives people a sense of inspiration and makes them want to share it, is also spreading in the United States, initially among people interested in the 'New Thought Movement', and is gradually creating a huge number of followers.
Study groups for this book have sprung up across the United States.
This is because this book provides philosophical roots to a wide range of issues, including human life, science, the universe, and the soul.

Into the book
As long as you still worry about what others think of you, you belong to them.
Only when you do not seek any recognition from outside yourself can you truly be your own master.
--- p.20
Only when you stopped fearing me could you create a meaningful relationship with me.
If I could give you any gift, any special grace, that would enable you to find Me, it would be fearlessness.
Blessed be the fearless, for they will know God.
This means being fearless enough to let go of what you think you know about God.
--- p.23
Actually, you have the answer.
I've had it all along.
You just don't choose to answer.
You are choosing to believe that you don't know the answer.
So you don't know it.
--- p.34
Truth is usually not comfortable.
Truth can only be comfortable to those who do not wish to ignore it.
In such times, the truth not only comforts but also inspires.
--- p.71
There is no way for me to separate myself from you, or from anything else.
Not knowing this is “hell”, and knowing and understanding this perfectly is “salvation”.

Publisher's Review
The trilogy of "Conversations with God" deals with truth on a personal level in Volume 1, truth on a global level in Volume 2, and truth on a cosmic level in Volume 3.
In Volume 1, we mainly talked about many questions about our personal lives, questions we always feel and question: various aspects of our daily experiences such as money, love, sex, God, health, illness, food, relationships, right and wrong, heaven and hell.
Volume 2 addresses the global themes of geopolitical and metaphysical life on this planet and the various difficult challenges facing the world today: the world around us, time and space, love and war, good and evil, human sexual experience, and the best possible world political order.
Volume 3 deals with the theme of building a new world and creating a new reality.
Here, we begin with the question, “Who am I?” and reveal that we, with all the beings we choose to be, all the aspects of the divine we desire to be, create our own reality.
Author Walsh goes into great detail about how we can know our future, why time exists while we are in our bodies if there is no time and space, what happens after death, whether the Earth will undergo a cataclysm as many psychics say, why reincarnation is taboo in religions, is there life on other planets, why the soul leaves the body, what the soul is, and how to achieve full awareness.
To all these questions God gives clear and insightful answers.
And finally, I advise you to remember the following three wisdoms:
First, we are all one.
If we all thought we were one, we wouldn't treat each other the way we do now.
Second, if you think you have enough, you will share it all with everyone.
Thirdly, we need to know that there is nothing we need to do.
You can't "get there" by trying to be love, happiness, or anything else, and the way to "get there" is to "be there."
.
By the way, the God in this book is not the Catholic God, the Protestant God, the Buddhist Buddha, or the god worshipped by any other specific religion.
Rather, it is a God who exists only as a creator and observer, completely unrelated to existing religions, a God who grants humans unlimited creativity and choice without hell or heaven.
Therefore, he says, readers, regardless of their religious affiliation or preconceptions, will be able to explore the true meaning of human existence through this book.
