The third protagonist in the Glove Elementary series is the stylish Lace Glove.
In every school and every class, there's bound to be at least one friend who wears lace gloves.
I'm talking about a friend who is sly, greedy, and even cunning, and who manipulates his peers.

In elementary school, kitchen gloves are such a clumsy friend.

Today is the day for children from Gapjang Elementary School to experience the tidal flats.
While all the other friends are busy digging for clams, Lace Gloves stands far away, rolling his head.

The lace gloves are busy following the kitchen gloves around, pointing out with their fingers where clams might be.

Why would he be so mean? While the twins were wondering what kind of prank they'd play today, the kitchen glove tripped on the rope they'd laid, causing it to fall over with a thud.

The lace gloves quickly change their expression and start yelling at the kitchen gloves.
“Hey, what the heck is this because of you!” As if that wasn’t enough, he even pushed away the kitchen gloves that were trying to wipe the mud off.
Rubber gloves get involved when they see that.
“Hey, Race Gloves! What if you push your friend!” Rubber Gloves is a righteous class leader who doesn’t even turn a blind eye to the twin gloves that were bullying Vinyl Gloves.
“It’s not like the lace gloves and kitchen gloves were intentionally made like that.
"I wish I could apologize to the kitchen gloves." Even the innocent Velvet Glove teacher scolded her, and the lace gloves were completely torn apart.


But as Lace Gloves was walking along the beach, grumbling to herself, a bottle containing a rolled-up piece of paper caught her eye.
The paper seems like a treasure map! Race Gloves begins searching the rocks, determined to find treasure and show it off to his friends.
Then, as the tide comes in, they get stuck on the rocks and can't go anywhere.
The sea water is rising, but will the lace gloves be able to escape safely from the rocks?

The "Glove Elementary School" series is the first book written and illustrated solely for children by author Yoo Seol-hwa, who has posed serious questions to both children and adults through picture books.
This series originated from a request from a child the author met at a lecture hall.
After receiving a request to “Please make my story into a picture book too!”, he said he wanted to capture the lovely images of the children he had met in a picture book.


All the children in this series have the appearance of gloves.
Curious leather gloves, tough rubber gloves, honest boxing gloves, diligent scrubbing gloves, spirited baseball gloves, gluttonous kitchen gloves, mischievous twin gloves, cowardly vinyl gloves, and even the sly and sly, greedy lace gloves… … .
