Kim Chang-hoon's monologue
Description
Book Introduction
Kim Chang-hoon, a member of the legendary rock band Sanulrim, has published "Kim Chang-hoon's Monologue," a book in which he unfolds his life and music through words and pictures.

Kim Chang-hoon is the bassist, vocalist, and composer of 'Sanulrim', and has pursued a variety of music, from experimental rock music to emotional ballads.
While working with 'Sanulrim', he not only wrote and composed legendary songs such as [Reminiscence], [Monologue], [My Heart], and [Grandfather of the Mountain], but he was also the writer and composer of the song [What Should I Do], which won the grand prize at the 1st MBC University Song Festival in 1977.
He produced the first and second albums of the original diva Kim Wan-sun, and wrote and composed famous songs that will remain in the history of pop music, such as [Tonight] and [Alone in Front of the Garden].

After that, he stopped his activities with 'Sanulrim' and moved to the United States to work before returning to Korea and forming 'Kim Chang-hoon and the Black Stones' in 2017, releasing their 0th and 1st regular albums.
Since 2021, I have been working on a poetry song project that sets music to 1,000 representative Korean poems on my YouTube channel [Between Poetry and Music].
Ahead of Sanulrim's 50th anniversary in 2027, a remake single release project is underway.

Along with his music work, Kim Chang-hoon began to encounter painting as if by fate in 2024.
After seeing and being impressed by the paintings of the great masters since his youth, and even running a painting business in the United States, he suddenly had the idea to try painting himself.

Kim Chang-hoon's autobiographical essay, "Kim Chang-hoon's Monologue," calmly unfolds not only his life as an artist, from music to painting, but also the twists and turns of his life, such as the sudden death of the late Kim Chang-ik, the youngest member of "Sanulrim," memories of his mother in a nursing home, and his life in the United States and return to Korea.
The relationship with the eternal diva Kim Wan-sun, which began through music, continues into painting, and the two-person exhibition is held, conveying the excitement of a new journey in life.

He looks back on his half-century artistic career through short, related thoughts, using famous songs he wrote and composed, such as [Grandfather], [Reminiscence], and [Monologue], as the titles of each chapter.
As a senior approaching 70, he also calmly expresses his thoughts.
