The sun is warm.
The wind blowing past my ears is cold.
The grass blades on the roadside are rustling.
The leaves turned red, yellow, and brown.
Autumn is deepening.
“Guess what.
“Who is it?” Two ears perked up above the bushes beautifully dyed in the sunset light.
I can tell by the long ears.
“Rabbit!” I turned the page.
A cute rabbit pokes its head out and makes eye contact.
“That’s right!”
Remember those mischievous kids last summer, covering their faces with fresh green leaves and shouting, "Who's that?" This time, another group of mischievous kids has arrived from the colorful autumn forest, inviting you to join them.
I wait for you, hiding my face in the bright red maple leaves and hiding behind the fluttering orange and chestnut leaves.
Take a close look at everything and try to guess who is hiding there.
Look at that fang poking out from between the orange leaves.
Look at those flaring nostrils.
