'What does this mean?'
A curiosity stronger than fear wells up.

The chick really, really liked the warm and cozy inside the egg.
But like any other egg, it had to break out when the time came, but it didn't want to break out of the egg.
Neither the mother's warm encouragement to come out nor the angry father's threats to come out of the egg immediately could make the chick come out of the egg.
Although the inside of the egg was warm and cozy, the fear of the new environment also played a part.
But as the chick sees all the other chicks coming out of the egg and eating and playing together, it begins to gradually become curious about the outside world.
Then, the inside of the egg gradually becomes uncomfortable, and you realize that you cannot live inside the egg alone.


It is natural for children to feel fear in new environments, just like chicks in an egg.
In times like this, rather than rushing your child, wait.
Just like the chick's grandmother in the picture book did.
Then, children will explore the new world on their own and positively accept new environments and situations.
Remember that a child's curiosity about the world is stronger than their fear.

If you have just a little courage, an exciting and wonderful world will unfold before you.

As the chick grew, the inside of the egg became more and more cramped, and he envied the other chicks playing outside.
When trapped inside the egg, they could not peck for food or run around with their little feet.
So, they make a hole in the egg and stick their beak, feet, and wings out, and little by little they explore outside the egg.
It's like when children go to school for the first time or meet new friends, they are afraid but they take small steps forward with courage.
Likewise, chicks gradually experience change and growth as they step out of the egg and into the world, gaining confidence.


In particular, while with your cute chick friend, you will shake off all your fears about the world outside the egg and confidently come out of the egg.
The new world I entered was filled with wonderful things I had never experienced before.
Children will discover that embracing new situations is easy, fun, and exciting, just like a chick hatching from an egg says, “It turns out it was easy!”
It means that if we just have a little courage, great things are waiting for us.
