Book Introduction
If we were to choose the means of best improving quality of life and satisfaction in modern society, it would undoubtedly be apartment living.
They form a collective village with at least a few hundred to several thousand households.
In a word, it is a ‘village community.’
They are very close to each other.
The sound of a baby crying next door, the sound of children playing upstairs, the sound of someone arguing loudly on the phone from some floor when the door is open, the faint sound of a piano being played, the sound of someone running on a treadmill late at night, the rough cough of an old man, etc. are irritating, but at the same time, they are also endearing.
That's because we live together as neighbors.
But our hearts are far apart.
Unless we have a special relationship, we don't know each other very well.
After one year, two years, five years, and even ten years, you are still just a stranger standing on a distant mountain.
Isn't this truly a disease created by modern culture?
After our first meeting in October of last year, our reading group immediately came together and decided to compile the story of "Our Living Together" into a book.
I like reading and I even keep a diary, but writing for others to read was burdensome.
It was no different from the 'Forced Chunhyang' style, but everyone persevered and set out with one mind and one purpose.
Literary genres include poetry, novels, and essays, but due to our circumstances, we collected one or two pieces as if we were gathering fallen leaves, thinking, "Anything written is good."
There are no novels among our writings, but there are poems and essays.
He also wrote a new genre called 'Dicashi (cell phone photos + poetry)'.
I also collected several short thoughts and reading notes.
In particular, it includes the winning entries from the children's book review contest held at the library.
We also invited famous children's storytellers, like special guest singers, to publish 'short stories'.
There are also types of writing such as essays, reviews, and travelogues.
