Choi Jung-rak's Multiple Choice Business Administration 3,000 Questions
Description
Book Introduction
[West Gate]

This book is a practice problem book for students preparing for various business administration multiple-choice exams held in Korea.
The types of exams that can be prepared for with this book include public enterprise (public corporations and industrial complexes) exams, certified labor attorneys, industrial safety instructors, 7th grade national civil servants (auditors), local government officials, 5th, 7th, and 9th grade military personnel (military leaders), management instructors, franchisees, and various corporate entrance and promotion exams.
This book was first introduced as a tentative version of '600 questions' before being officially published. In the first edition, the number of questions was increased to '700 questions', and in the second edition, it was expanded to '1000 questions', and in the third edition, it was revised to '1200 questions'.
From the 4th to the 9th editions, an average of 200 questions were added each year, and as of the 9th edition, it has become the textbook with the largest number of questions in Korea, consisting of over 2,400 questions.
In this process, we took into consideration the needs of test takers who complained about the inconvenience of having too many questions, so in the 10th edition, we reduced the number of questions to 2000. However, we also received requests to include more questions to ensure sufficient practice opportunities.
So, starting this year, I decided to split the problem book into two parts.
In other words, we decided to simultaneously publish 3,000 questions, which contain the largest number of questions in the country, and 1,500 questions, which contain only important and essential questions, and this book corresponds to the 3,000 questions.

All included questions are from the most recent exams since the 2000s, allowing readers to grasp the actual difficulty level and exam trends.
There are already many business management textbooks on the market, so I didn't want to confuse students by adding another similar book.
Therefore, in writing this book, I took care to highlight the following characteristics:

We analyzed past exam questions and grouped them into the most detailed, similar topics possible (TOICs in the text).
While most objective test books divide their units into 5 to 30 topics, this book divides past exam questions into 71 topics.
This is to ensure that thorough learning on the topic is achieved during the problem-solving process.
Each TOPIC will have between 20 and 90 questions.

Rather than categorizing each question by test type (e.g., 7th grade civil service questions and certified labor attorney questions separately), the questions are grouped together based on similarity and identity of content.
Therefore, test takers will be able to sufficiently repeat study of specific content items while solving problems.

Important questions that must be mastered regardless of the type of test are marked [Required].
All of these required questions will be published separately in a 1500-question problem book in the future.
Additionally, questions that ask about minor concepts, are above the undergraduate level, or are likely to be asked only once in several decades are marked as [Advanced/High Difficulty].
Especially in the areas of accounting and financial management, where most test takers struggle to learn, you can score 60-70% of the total exam questions by simply reviewing the [essential] questions.
Depending on the type of exam you are preparing for, we recommend the following structure of the questions you study:

The commentary is faithfully included.
To minimize the need to look up the textbook separately, the explanation section is divided into [Summary of Key Points], which summarizes the theory related to the problem, [Explanation], which explains the correct answer, and [Additional Explanation], which explains the remaining choices (options) that are not the correct answer.

On the first page of each TOPIC, a summary of the theory on that topic is provided.
It is intended to serve as a simple guideline for solving multiple-choice questions in the future.

For those preparing for the exam using this book, we recommend the following study method.

First, you don't necessarily have to solve the problems in the book's chapter order. You can start by studying the areas you feel weak in or areas that require intensive study.
However, within one TOPIC, it is recommended to solve the questions in order as much as possible.
This is because the problems are arranged in order, starting with problems that apply the most basic concepts and progressing to problems that deepen, apply, and expand on those concepts.

Second, I recommend that you solve the problem first without looking at the explanation, and then look at the explanation to pick out the correct and incorrect answers and ponder the reasons for each.
Since similar passages are often repeated in business administration exams, I think it would be helpful to memorize the correct and incorrect answers to save time in the actual exam.

Third, I recommend reading extensively.
Because of the nature of multiple-choice tests, it is advantageous to reduce the time spent on each question, so it is necessary to frequently review the questions and passages to familiarize yourself with them.
During this process, it is recommended that you skip over problems that are easy to solve, but mark separately problems that are difficult to solve or that you repeatedly get wrong.
If you mark your mistakes every time you make them, it will be very useful for final review as you can review the questions you marked the most when the test is approaching.

Fourth, you should keep in mind that depending on the type of exam you are preparing for, there are units that are heavily tested (marked with ●) and units that are less frequently tested (marked with ▲).
It is recommended that you look at the table below to organize the current trends in exam questions and adjust the intensity of your exam preparation.

I received help from many people during the publication process of this book.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Jin Ha-jun, CEO of Bookforest, who always works diligently to create good books.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the academy staff who coordinated various lecture schedules and encouraged the publication of the book, as well as to the many students who studied with the previous edition and provided various feedback, as well as to the successful candidates.
Above all, this book was possible thanks to the devoted love of my wife, who understands and sincerely supports me even though I am always busy with lectures and manuscripts, and to my two adorable sons, who are a source of energy for their father.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my love and gratitude.
Finally, I sincerely wish health, success, and happiness to all those who study with this book.
