Author's Note

Into the book
There was no need to do that just because my wife died.
I'm really sorry, but I didn't care.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to pay attention to my wife because I've been so busy with work, but there's nothing I can do about it.
To be honest, the company was more important than my wife.
That doesn't mean my wife's car accident was my fault.
So I didn't have to feel guilty towards my wife, but I guess I felt a little guilty without even realizing it.
I don't understand, though.
One day, my wife asked me to go to the daycare center with her.
I think the reason he went to that orphanage after his wife died was probably because of guilt.
Actually, I was surprised.
When I should be focusing on work, I can't believe I'm wasting my time like this.
---From "I'm really sorry, but I didn't care"

“Everyone has their own happiness score.
Scores range from 1 to 100, but there are probably very few people who get 100 points.
As you know, happiness is relative.
If you live alone in this world, you might not even know if you're truly happy. So, you could say that happiness comes from relationships.
There are relationships that create synergy with the other person and make them happier, while there are also relationships that make people unhappy because of the other person.
We want to help the latter.
"To those who have been unjustly robbed of their happiness! I'm here to avenge their resentment!"
---From "The Happiness Limit"

“The reason I decided to commit suicide… sigh.”
“Oh, yes.”
“I have a squirrel that I have raised with great love for several years.
But this gecko didn't follow a friend who came to visit our house very well. So my friend and I tested it by calling it from both sides, telling it to come over... 100 out of 100 times, it flew to my friend.
“My love was betrayed… so I decided to commit suicide.”
---From "His Life"

“You’re so lucky that there’s someone who doesn’t want you to be happy.”
---From "T Company"
