2026 Gas Engineer Practical Test
2026 Gas Engineer Practical Test
Description
Book Introduction
Since industrialization in the 1970s, Korea has rapidly developed heavy chemical and high-tech industries, making it one of the world's top 10 economies. As the economy has grown, gas consumption has increased dramatically in various industrial sites and in our daily lives, leading to a significant need for skilled workers in the gas field.

Accordingly, based on the author's field work and experience in gas engineering, the author published the 2009 Gas Engineer Practical Exam Preparation Manual. To adapt to the changing trends in exam questions and the testing environment, the author has focused on the following areas and published a completely revised edition.

first.
It is composed of written and performance-based questions (video) in accordance with the practical test criteria for gas technicians.

Second.
Considering that there is no difference in the difficulty level of the practical exam questions for the technician, engineer, and industrial engineer exams, we have also selected questions from the technician and industrial engineer exams and included them in the expected questions.

Third.
In the written section, we have included a summary of key theories and expected questions for each unit, along with detailed explanations and solution processes, to ensure that you can prepare for the exam through self-study.

Fourth.
In the work-related (video) section, we have included expected questions, answers, and explanations for each field to help you achieve a high score on the video exam.

Fifth.
By including all previous year's written and performance-based (video) exam questions by year, you can understand the latest exam questions and take the exam.

Sixth.
In the appendix, we have included ‘Gas-related formulas’, ‘Unit conversion methods’, ‘Types and characteristics of high-pressure gases’, etc. to help you resolve any questions or concerns you may have.
