This book began with the author's realization that, while teaching Korean cuisine to foreigners, people of different nationalities, cultures, and languages could more easily understand and communicate with each other through food.
A mother and daughter came together to create a drawing that would convey the taste, meaning, and cooking process of food in a more fun and effective way.
The mother, a Korean cooking expert, took charge of the food and writing, and the daughter, an illustrator, explained everything from the ingredients to each process in friendly illustrations so that even beginners can easily follow along.
In order to express it as easily and clearly as possible, I expressed it in detail, without leaving out even a single grain of rice or drop of sesame oil.
