Into the book
In times of crisis, people tend to turn to what they are familiar with.
When I faced a crisis, what I was familiar with was not prayer, but fear and anxiety.
It was then that I was shocked to see the true nature of my faith, and for the first time I was able to move towards a place of true prayer.
There is no fervent prayer without despair of oneself.
That's when the real prayer began.

--- p.17

Until now, we have thought that we would receive answers to our prayers by praying a lot or praying earnestly, so when the answer to our prayers was delayed, we reflected on our fervor in prayer.
But, strictly speaking, the time spent patiently waiting for our prayers to be answered is not the time when the prayers should be filled.
It is the time needed for my heart and mind to be completely united with God.
It is a time when the barriers that have separated us from God and created a distance between us and God due to sin and self are removed.

--- p.47

Words create relationships.
When we say that God spoke first and began to pray, we mean that God wanted to have a relationship with us and invited us.
Because the blessings of Eden have been restored, we can now call God our Father and have intimate conversations with Him.
The power of prayer is that we can tell God everything without any hesitation, just as we did in the Garden of Eden.

--- p.56-57

Problem solving and answers are not the purpose of prayer.
Answers to prayer are the fruit that comes as a byproduct.
The purpose of prayer is Jesus Christ, the goal of prayer is Jesus Christ, and the method of prayer is also Jesus Christ.
And it is about becoming more intimate in a loving relationship with God (Jesus, the Holy Spirit).
The life that flows through that relationship changes everything.
The completion of the mission and the completion of the kingdom of God are in God.

--- p.57-58

The mission of the intercessor is to restore the church to intimacy with God through this intimacy.
With that strength, we can prepare for the kingdom of God, pray for the nations, and run to the end.
The greatest reward God gives us who pray is intimate fellowship with Jesus Christ, who loves our souls.
--- p.112

What we are interested in is not the level of prayer of the person praying.
It is about paying attention to how the Holy Spirit works and how He leads prayer through those gathered there.
Because the words given here and now are always new.
So I look forward to hearing the word you give me on that day and at that time.

--- p.139

God wants to see evidence of victory through those who pray.
Spiritual warfare, obedience, and prayer are not separate topics.
The work of opposing the devil is done through the power of faith working through love.
Victory in spiritual warfare requires securing a spiritual high ground through obedience in daily life and planting the flag of victory on that high ground.

--- p.219

May the happy brides who have married Jesus become matchmakers who spread their happiness and light the fire of love and prayer.
May the spark of prayer that starts in small prayer groups become a fire that spreads throughout the church.
May all the saints of this land become 'houses of prayer,' and may all churches be established as 'houses of prayer for all people,' with all people and for all people.
--- p.302

Publisher's Review
Even at this moment, there are anonymous prayer warriors kneeling in a small room.
They are the ones who go to the place of prayer and prostrate themselves even if no one recognizes them.
The prayers of this anonymous person serve as a vital link and glue that unites the community so that the church becomes one family and one body in Jesus Christ.
This book emphasizes that because Jesus is the prototype of prayer and Jesus is the intercessor, the place of prayer where I unite with Jesus and live the gospel of the cross in which I die and live in Jesus, and pray for the unity and harmony of the church and for the kingdom of God and righteousness is an invitation, mission, and blessing for all who are born again as Christians.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to pray more deeply, following the author's earnest desire to find the right prayer, the prayer that God desires and is pleased with.
