Buddha's words and mind study
Buddha's words and mind study
Description
Book Introduction
The author has tried to incorporate the teachings selected from this book into a poetic rhythm, easy and concise understanding, and practical verses.
We tried to select songs that are short but leave a strong impression on our lives, songs that provide direct answers to the question of how to live in reality, and songs that are easy to read even for beginners but contain the teachings of Buddhism.

Of course, I have collected all the scriptures from the early scriptures of the Agamas to all the scriptures and treatises of Mahayana Buddhism, as long as they meet the above criteria. It also contains some verses that those who have studied Buddhism even a little will likely be familiar with.

I offer this book to the Buddha with the hope that it will make Buddhism more accessible, free us from the burden and prejudice against scriptures that we often find heavy and difficult, and bring small bits of wisdom and happiness to our lives.

Publisher's Review
A short but powerful lingering message, a single line of Buddhist scripture that will completely change your life!

You can start reading from any chapter or page.
Sometimes, you can keep it on your bookshelf and read it when you encounter difficult and challenging situations in life, just by finding a topic that catches your eye.
When we are lost due to hardships and suffering, or suffering from a long-term slump, don't we all suddenly pick up a page and, as if encountering a ray of light, read the words we desperately need?
Although the Buddha's words are brief, they contain infinitely deep truths that one could ponder for a lifetime without ever realizing.

Everyone has had the experience of reading a book that completely changes them from time to time.
Or, in a single passage from a book, you may encounter a great teacher who can change your life.
Also, when I am exhausted and tired in body and mind from a long and painful task, a certain passage from a sutra that I suddenly open will suddenly lift my weary mind and body and bring me an overwhelming feeling. Or, when I am struggling with this and that and cannot find the answer, there are times when I suddenly open a sutra and slap my knee and exclaim in admiration as if the Buddha knows and is trying to teach me the Dharma.

What a vast and boundless treasure trove of truth the Buddha's teachings truly are.
Not only does it contain all the philosophies, religions, thoughts, and values that can be found throughout human history, but it also contains countless truths hidden like jewels that no saint has ever discovered.
How can we find such wise, beautiful, and practical teachings in such a vast body of scriptures?
This book is the result of my efforts to gather information from time to time in an attempt to find just such teachings.
I sincerely hope that this book will make Buddhism a little easier to understand, help you break free from the burden and prejudice against scriptures that have often felt heavy and difficult, and bring a little wisdom and happiness to each individual's life.

The teachings selected in this book have been mainly composed of poetic rhythms, easy and concise understanding, and practical verses.

And although I am cautious about adding to the beautiful teachings I have selected, I have added little by little to help you understand them a little.
Likewise, in the commentary, I wrote it from the perspective of wanting to help you in your life and religious life by making clearer the parts that can be put into practice in your life right away.
The topics selected based on these criteria mainly cover the most common realities we face, such as family, work, love, possessions, property, children, good and evil, and language, and go on to cover rich people, poverty, sharing, death, loneliness, filial piety, alcohol, extramarital affairs, fortune telling, food, the environment, and religious harmony. In addition, there are stories about hatred, resentment, jealousy, blame, greed, and obsession, which are afflictions that we do not know how to deal with. For those who want to change their daily lives while living a life of practice and prayer, we also cover the virtues of practice such as meditation, Zen, prayer, diligence, wakefulness, contemplation, and compassion, so that they can enable a comprehensive study of Buddhism and life practice through Buddhist verses.

I offer this book to the Buddha with the hope that it will make Buddhism a little easier to understand, free you from the burden and prejudice against scriptures that you may have found heavy and difficult, and bring a little wisdom and happiness to each person's life.
