A book offering clear gospel answers to the youth of South Korea, who are wavering amidst anxiety and endless competition, has been published: "Youth Gospel: 7 Youth Solutions from the Gospel in an Age of Anxiety."
This book goes beyond mere superficial comfort or doctrine. It delves deeply into and analyzes seven topics that young people most deeply struggle with in reality: self-esteem, money, time, work, relationships, marriage, and justice, and presents solutions from a gospel perspective.
The author emphasizes that the gospel is not limited to life after death, but is a living and active “good news” that also applies to the reality in which we live today.
It offers concrete alternatives for how the gospel sets us free in every moment we work, love, relate, and spend time and money.
Each chapter accurately explains the essence of the gospel, using a variety of expressions and terms familiar to young people, and organizes key content into diagrams to aid understanding.
Additionally, at the end of each chapter, we provide 'missions for personal reflection' and specific application examples to help readers read, apply, and record the material in their own lives. We also provide 'questions for small group sharing' to encourage discussion on topics within groups and enrich sharing.
In this age of uncertainty, for young people struggling amidst a bleak reality, and for those seeking a freer and wiser path in life, "The Gospel for Youth" will serve as a sure guide.

Publisher's Review
“What! I was the only one who didn’t know?”
At noon on August 15, 1945, when the Emperor of Japan declared surrender over the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (now NHK) radio, our country finally enjoyed the long-awaited liberation.
It's easy to imagine that immediately after liberation, people would have poured into the streets and rejoiced, shouting "Long live Korean independence," but the reality was quite different.
Not many people directly heard Japan's surrender broadcast.
Surprisingly, there was even a person (Seo Jeong-ju, a teacher at the time) who said he only heard the news of Japan's defeat through a colleague on August 18th.
Whatever the reason, even though liberation had already been declared, those who had not heard the good news still believed they were under Japanese rule.
In other words, if you don't hear or know the 'good news', you are keeping yourself in chains that have been broken.
This principle applies perfectly to our Christian lives! For Christians, the "good news" is the "gospel," right? The good news that Jesus came to save us, that he died on the cross and rose again, and that he ascended to heaven and will one day return to complete our salvation.
How sad would it be to live without knowing this news?
But this good news called the gospel is not limited to the death and resurrection of Jesus and heaven.
Even at this very moment, in the reality where we live, the gospel is alive and moving.
The gospel is the good news that sets us free—whether it's working, loving, forming relationships, or spending our time and money! To know and enjoy this good news, we must view every area of our lives through the lens of the gospel.
Just as the whole country was excited by the news that Korea had advanced to the semifinals of the World Cup, and just as we felt joy and delight when we received the notification that our long-awaited delivery had arrived, Jesus has hidden good news in every corner of our daily lives.
So what we really need is the ability to interpret every aspect of our daily lives from a gospel perspective.
If we don't know the good news that God has planted in our lives, we will be swayed by the world's negative and destructive messages and will not be able to experience true freedom.
This book is a journey that examines seven life topics—self-esteem, money, time, work, relationships, marriage, and fairness—through the lens of the gospel.
Just as a glasses cleaner wipes away dust and smudges from the lenses, I hope this book will help purify your vision.
I hope this book will help you view every moment of your life through the lens of the gospel and enjoy the abundant life God has prepared for you!
