Publisher's Review
“Please write so I can find out!”
If you are in the upper grades and still have poor handwriting, now is the time to break free from your bad handwriting.
Practice systematically with 『Correct Handwriting for Advanced Grades』!

1.
Systematic handwriting practice in three stages: 'Preparation → Practice → Practice'
This book is designed to help you practice handwriting in three stages.
In the preparation stage, you will learn how to hold the pencil correctly, check your posture again, and do warm-up exercises to write well by drawing various lines.
In the practical stage, you will practice writing and sentences in earnest by writing consonants and vowels in order, writing according to shape, and writing neat sentences.
Finally, we conclude our handwriting practice by applying it to real life and writing various texts.

2.
Difficulty increases from large to small letters, from overwriting to tracing to writing alone.
At first, start practicing writing in large letters in the boxes.
Practice writing in large letters, making sure that the lines are drawn straight, the consonants and vowels are in the correct positions, and that the shape is correct. Then, write in increasingly smaller spaces and lines to find a font size that suits you.
And at first, you write directly over the letters, and then practice writing the letters in blank spaces and on blank lines.
After practicing overwriting and tracing, I finish my handwriting practice by writing on my own.

3.
NO Myeongjo (Gungseo) font! Gothic font & generous size for effective handwriting practice.
At school, we practice handwriting in Myeongjo (Gungseo) font.
Myeongjo (Gungseo) font has clear and soft lines, but students practicing calligraphy may find it difficult and challenging.
This is because the number of strokes for certain consonants and vowels appears to be different, and horizontal and vertical strokes are broken and written.
In contrast, Gothic fonts have a neat feel and are suitable for students to learn the correct shapes and order of consonants and vowels.
So in this book, we practice writing in Gothic font.

4.
Designed to be practiced consistently for 10 minutes, 4 pages a day
We provide ‘My Pledge’ and ‘Study Plan’ to help you practice consistently, 4 pages a day.
I tear off 'My Pledge' and 'Study Plan' and stick them on my desk, and check them every day when I practice, to develop a writing habit.
If you write consistently, diligently, and step by step, you will be able to see changes in your handwriting.
