Healing hurt feelings
Description
Book Introduction
A timeless classic of inner healing!
Free yourself from guilt, low self-esteem, and perfectionism.
A book that will lead you to the abundant life that God gives.
“Your heart’s wounds can be healed.”
All the good and bad events in our lives leave traces in us like the rings on a tree.
So that memory influences our emotions, our relationships, and our thoughts about God.
Unresolved hurt feelings,
manifested as physical illness, emotional breakdown, and unhappy family life
God wants you to break free from the chains of oppression that have bound you from the past and live a free life.
Most Christians deny that they have serious emotional problems.
They suppress or hide their painful wounds because they think that if they are filled with the Holy Spirit, all their problems will be automatically solved.
Or, because of their unfree spirit, they suffer from guilt and self-harm.
However, unresolved issues lie at the bottom of life and later manifest themselves in the form of physical pathological symptoms, depression, strange behavior, and unhappy family life.
Are there wounds from the past shackling you deep within? This book will help you break those chains and live a free life.

Into the book
The hurt feelings that prevent the gospel from penetrating deeply
There is something I discovered when I first started pastoring.
I have come to realize that there are two groups of people whom regular church ministry cannot help.
Their problems were not ones that could be solved through sermons.
It was also not resolved through church service, being filled with the Holy Spirit, prayer, or sacraments.
One group of people had no confidence in God's power.
They prayed hard, but did not receive answers to their prayers for personal problems.
Those people tried every spiritual discipline available to Christians, but they got no results.
Their emotions were constantly experiencing defeat, just as the needle stays in one place when playing an old, broken record.
They continued to pray, give offerings, and confess their sins as outward expressions of their faith.
Nevertheless, they fell into deeper doubt and despair.
I saw another group of people living hypocritical lives.
They suppressed their feelings or denied that they had a serious problem.
The reason was as follows.
“Christians simply assume that such problems cannot exist.” Instead of addressing the problem as a problem, they cover it up with Scripture, theological jargon, or unrealistic technical jargon.
Unresolved issues become a part of their lives and later manifest in various forms.
That is, it may manifest as pathological symptoms or strange behavior, or it may lead to a very unhappy married life.
Sometimes it even causes emotional harm to children.
As I experienced these things, God showed me something.
That is, there are some problems that can never be helped with general ministry.
And God opened the eyes of my heart to see my problem.
Through my marriage, my children, and my friends, He has allowed me to experience a new level of deep love that heals my wounds.
Moreover, God expanded the scope of my pastoral ministry.
Now, special attention and prayer for those who are emotionally wounded and those whose past wounds have not healed have become an important part of my ministry.
I have been preaching, teaching, and counseling on this topic for 20 years, and have also distributed related tapes.
During this time, I have heard of thousands of Christians being freed from emotional problems.
They experienced healing from the past wounds that had made them helpless.
I pray that this book will help you understand how God heals wounded emotions and hurt feelings.
So, I pray that those who are in trouble will be fully restored and that the wounds of crippled Christians will be healed so that they can be transformed into people who help others.

Publisher's Review
You don't have to be hurt by your past.
Forgive those who hurt you
Like the unjust steward who was forgiven a huge debt, we too are unable to forgive those who have hurt us.
Are you not living in a prison of the mind, unable to accept the grace of forgiveness from God and wishing to retaliate and seek revenge on those who have tormented you?
God does not want us to live bound to the past.
We have a biblical way to deal with all the hurts we have received from the past.
God's way goes beyond forgiving someone and surrendering to resentment.
God takes on the wounds, sins, and faults you have experienced before, binds them up, and transforms them with love.
The Trap of Low Self-Esteem, the Trap of Perfectionism
One of the most powerful weapons in Satan's arsenal is psychological.
Our low self-esteem and perfectionism are not what God wants.
From God's perspective, it is our responsibility to correct and reestablish our distorted and warped self-images every day.
Go before the Word and the help of the Holy Spirit every day.
Through this book, the wounds of your heart that have not been healed will be healed, and you will move forward to the perfect life that God desires.
