Publisher's Review
1.
No matter how dark the sky is and how cloudy it is, there is always a bright and shining sun above it.
In this way, even if our minds are clouded by all kinds of thoughts and emotions, underneath them there is an ‘original mind’ that is not damaged by them.
This is called ‘pure original mind.’
The practice of pure mind is a journey to find the original, pure mind that is not polluted.

'Princess Mind' meditation is a term and practice method discovered and developed by the author.
Of course, the author clearly states that the origin of this meditation method lies thoroughly in the teachings of the Buddha and Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava, and furthermore, it is based on the teachings and wisdom of Longchenpa, Mipham Rinpoche, and his teacher Jikme Phuntsok Rinpoche.
Therefore, the practice of pure mind will be of great help to those who are interested in traditional Dzogchen practice, and on the other hand, it will also be helpful to beginners who are not familiar with Buddhism or the practice.
Because it contains useful examples and solutions that can be of practical help to those who are suffering and tormented by the weight of life.

2.

How can we reach and sustain the "originally pure mind"? This is the core of practicing pure mind.
And the path is profound, but by no means difficult.
Because “you don’t have to wander around chasing the past, don’t try to predict the future, just stay in the present, and let your mind be still.”
And this book describes this path clearly and easily.

“Rinpoche teaches us that there is much more within us than we can ever imagine, and that if we open our hearts and allow ourselves to be touched by that nature, there are vaster worlds and profound truths.
And it shows us how to do it with incredible clarity.
When we touch our own pure nature, love and compassion flow naturally, and suffering is significantly reduced.”

“Practicing with a pure mind naturally causes the defilements of the mind to disappear.
All living beings pursue happiness in all aspects.
Instead of looking into all the aspects of pursuing happiness, if you turn your mind and remove the barriers to the pure original mind, you will become unconditionally happy.
“What we have to do is to remove the negative state of mind, the pollution of the mind.”

Ultimately, if we believe that our mind is inherently pure and reduce and eliminate the elements that hinder our connection with it, namely the distortions and obstacles that arise from our everyday minds, we will become free and happy.

Recognizing and experiencing our own true state of mind, our natural, unmanipulated state of mind (pure original mind), is called “enlightenment.”
And to maintain this realization, this connection with the pure original mind, practice is necessary.
This is the path of practicing pure mind.
In this way, this book guides us to mindfulness, a path that goes beyond the peaceful mind of the present moment to ultimate peace and happiness, a path that transforms every area of our lives.
And it shows that journey in detail and concretely.

3.
While treatment of the illnesses that afflict the body is necessary, healing of the mind, which actually causes pain and anxiety, is also absolutely necessary.
And healing the mind requires inner change and a shift in perception.
Pristine Mind practice teaches us to see the true nature of our minds, to have faith in them, and to dwell in them.
The true nature of our hearts is bright, clear, and full of joy.
But we live our lives forgetting this in the whirlwind of stress, thoughts, and worries of everyday life.
If we do not recognize our true nature, our lives will be chaotic, anxious, and painful, swayed by our thoughts and emotions.
On the other hand, if we become aware of our fundamental nature, our pure original mind, we will attain the happiness and freedom of supreme enlightenment.
This book contains practical, concrete teachings that reveal a peaceful state of mind and reconnect us with the unconditional happiness that already exists within us.
Through this, we can not only transform the daily routine of our lives, but also embark on the path to ultimate happiness.
