Dead Sea
Description
Book Introduction
I tried to capture the small moments of everyday life and the voices that resonate from deep within my heart in poetry.
Sometimes he sang of joy, sometimes of sadness, and sometimes of love and tragedy.
If readers can find a little comfort or resonance through this collection of poems, and if the poems, which are lacking, can quietly settle into a corner of your heart, then that is enough.

Publisher's Review
Shin Jeong-hyeon's poetry collection, "The Four Seas," is a collection of works that poetically explores human suffering and salvation, love and despair within Christian symbolism.
On the surface, it is a record of faith and life, but inside it is a condensed inner confession of a man who gazed upon sin, atonement, and the gap between God and man.
The poet sings of the loneliness of a being standing on the border between reality and transcendence, as in his preface, “Perhaps life is in fact just a long dream.”
As the title suggests, 'Sahae' also means 'Sea of Death'.
But the sea is not simply the end, but a symbol of purification and resurrection.
The poet finds God at the end of suffering, and sings of love again in a place of despair.
Thus, this collection of poems becomes a record of a poetic pilgrimage to discover the light of God in the darkest places of humanity.
This collection of poems, which stares despair squarely in the face, is a soul-searching question about the true meaning of faith, while simultaneously delivering a comforting message of "faith and recovery" to those living in a wounded age.
'Sahae' is more than just a collection of religious poetry; it is a collection of spiritual prose and meditations that pose fundamental questions about human existence.
As the reader follows the poet's language, he or she will eventually encounter the 'dead sea' within himself or herself.
It is not a place of death, but a place of new beginnings.
