Book Introduction
Reading the Bible more easily and lightly!
Enjoy the essence of the 『Reading Jesus』 series,
Guides anyone to read the Bible from beginning to end without any burden.
『Reading Jesus Bible Reading Lite』 Volume 6 guides you through reading from 1 Corinthians to Revelation in 7 weeks.
Paul's letters address many issues facing the early church, but at the center of Paul's answers is always the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Book of Hebrews, the longest of the General Epistles, does a good job of explaining Jesus' high priesthood.

『Reading Jesus Bible Reading Lite』 was created to reflect requests for an easier and more practical Bible reading workbook than 『Reading Jesus』.
With weekly videos, audio Bibles tailored to the reading volume, easy-to-follow Bible reading guides, and even chapters for group sharing, 『Reading Jesus Bible Reading Light』 is designed so that anyone can start reading the entire Bible without any burden and continue to the end.

Into the book
Genesis is the book that shows the beginning of everything.
This book contains the beginning of the world, the beginning of humanity, the beginning of sin, and how God's covenant began.
So, depending on the perspective from which you read Genesis, your perspective on the entire Bible can change.
--- p.16 From Genesis 1
Genesis concludes not simply with the end of an era, but with anticipation of God's redemptive story that will unfold.
This is a common thread running through the entire Old Testament, ultimately directing all eyes toward the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ.
--- p.26 From Genesis 2
The Book of Exodus is a book that presents God's story of salvation more dynamically and dramatically than any other book.
Therefore, the Book of Exodus is a book in which we can deeply meditate on the Lord Jesus Christ, the originator and perfecter of salvation (Hebrews 2:10).
--- p.36 From “Exodus”
Today we no longer directly practice these sacrifices or ordinances.
But the core message still holds true.
God does not take sin lightly, but He always opens the way to restoration and forgiveness first.
All the sacrifices recorded in Leviticus were completely fulfilled through Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the true sacrificial offering who took the punishment that those who broke the covenant should have received, and he is the high priest who leads us to God.
--- p.46 From “Leviticus”
As we read the Book of Numbers, scenes of complaint, disbelief, disobedience, and resentment appear repeatedly.
God judges with justice each time, but at the same time opens the way to restoration.
In particular, the bronze serpent lifted up in the wilderness foreshadows Jesus Christ who will be crucified.
Because of Him who bore our sins, we are reborn as God's people.
--- p.56 From the Book of Numbers
Deuteronomy is not simply a book of repeating laws.
The generation born and raised in the wilderness needed to reorganize their lives with God's word in order to enter Canaan and live as God's people.
Moses recounted God's history of salvation and encouraged people not to forget God's grace and to live in obedience to the covenant.
--- p.66 From “Deuteronomy”
The rest enjoyed in the land of Canaan during the time of Joshua was not complete.
Israel's disobedience could have resulted in their loss again, and judging by the subsequent books of Judges and Kings, their future was anything but hopeful.
This makes us hope for the Messiah, who will give us the inheritance and rest of the eternal kingdom.
