An Anthropologist's Perspective Before the Mirror of Capitalism - Green Capitalism

"Green Capital" is a book written by renowned Japanese anthropologist Shinichi Nakazawa, who sought an alternative from an anthropological perspective in the face of the increasingly destructive nature of civilization and the limitations of capitalism in the 21st century.
The four essays in this book all speak, in different ways, to what today's capitalism has oppressed and excluded.
In particular, the title work, “Green Capital,” interprets the author’s experience of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks as an event in which he “clearly” saw a mirror “mercilessly reflecting” the world we live in standing right where a huge building collapsed, and contains the process of finding an ethics of coexistence that goes beyond a fragmentary interpretation of Islam.

Shinichi Nakazawa analyzes the monotheistic principles contained in Das Kapital to point out the contradictions of capitalism that developed in the Christian world and finds an alternative in the souk-style market that is not obsessed with profit.
Citing Rousseau's social contract, Marx's theory of value forms, Freud's pleasure principle, and Heidegger's ontology, he gives concrete form to the anxiety felt by humans in the capitalist era, and imagines the beyond of an overwhelmingly asymmetrical world through the Stockhausen incident, Kenji Miyazawa's fables, and various Japanese myths.
This book confronts the fundamental problems of modern society and reflects on the relationships between life forms.

We can see that mad cow disease and terrorism are pathologies with similar structures that arose from the same cause called civilization today.
At this time, the government may take measures such as mass culling of countless cows infected with mad cow disease or wiping out individuals or groups identified as terrorists.
Unfortunately, however, the validity of these measures is extremely short.
It is certain that soon another form of mad cow disease will emerge from the same pathogen, and that retaliatory terror attacks against the genocide will occur in a far more disastrous form than before.
Terrorism arises from a serious disease called global civilization.
A world that has eradicated terrorism through thorough eradication will increasingly resemble a world of livestock.
However, the mad cow disease outbreak suggests that terrorism can be perpetrated against livestock in a livestock-like manner.
As long as political thinking continues to be effective within an overwhelmingly asymmetrical world, such situations will continue to repeat themselves.

Islamic ethics of life are supported by the common Islamic world idea of ​​a monotheistic critique of self-expansion.
Naming the consistency of thought down to the subatomic level is tawhid and faith in Allah.

Islam as a principle is a living, giant volume of 'green capitalism'.
The 'other' of capitalism exists only on this planet.
Islam is a mirror that our world cannot afford to lose.
