The best-selling novel of the Joseon Dynasty, 『The Story of Hong Gildong』, written by Heo Gyun, who was treated as a heretic for his free thoughts and actions, has been rewritten with a new title, ‘Dancing Sleeves Flapping in the Wind.’
It is written in a way that middle and high school students can easily understand, within the scope of not harming nuclear power plants.
We wanted to fully convey the rich and rich essence of our classics while adding modern sensibilities and elements to make it easier for young people to immerse themselves in the content.

It is also noteworthy that efforts were made to maximize the healthy social consciousness of 『The Story of Hong Gildong』.
Among the many editions, the complete edition with a relatively clear critical awareness of society was used as the original, and it also contains a wealth of useful reading material, such as the “Seo-eol Newspaper,” which is a historical newspaper that depicts the mass petition by the concubines of Confucian scholars that occurred in 1823 (the 23rd year of King Sunjo’s reign), and “The Life of the People in the Joseon Dynasty,” which details the tyranny of corrupt officials that plagued Joseon society.
