The Christmas cantata "Jesus JESUS" was a specially commissioned work for the 2022 World Vision Choir, and six of the included songs were newly arranged and published as a mixed four-part choir.
The composition, choir parts, and lyrics were arranged to be suitable for use in worship during the Christmas season, and the songs were added or adjusted from existing works to present them as a new cantata.


“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
“Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:4-7)

As this word says, the prophecy was fulfilled with the birth of Jesus Christ.
He is the Son of God, the Almighty, capable of all things, and the only Messiah who can save mankind from sin.
