70 Days of Reading Prayers Filled with the Holy Spirit
Description
Book Introduction
The Holy Spirit is called the 'Spirit of God' or the 'Spirit of the Lord', and is the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, and gives intelligence to believers (those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior).
When the Holy Spirit works in believers, as the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of truth, he creates within them the moral character of God (Psalm 15:10), illuminating our hearts so that we may understand the truth, and opening our eyes.
The Holy Spirit is the Comforter to believers. God gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask for it, enabling them to participate in Christ and his gifts through true faith, comforting them (Acts 9:31), and remaining with us forever.
Therefore, in order for a person to live in this world as a believer, he must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
If a believer does not receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he cannot lead a believer's life through his own efforts.
The Bible teaches that humans cannot have faith on their own without the intervention of the Holy Spirit. Since the world through its wisdom did not know God (1 Corinthians 1:21), humans are completely depraved and incapable of spiritual discernment due to the fall, and therefore cannot possess the knowledge of salvation on their own (Romans 8:7).
Therefore, the Holy Spirit must enter a person's heart and open his or her perception, that is, “open their eyes and....” (Acts 26:18) so that they may believe.
The Bible explains this fact by saying, “It produces faith.”
Therefore, faith is said to be a gift given entirely from God.
A person's decision to accept Jesus as his Savior and receive salvation may seem like a voluntary and conscious act, but it is all the work of the Holy Spirit working within me.
It is a gift from God for believers to experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
Those who believe in Jesus have one common wish.
It is a desire to believe in Jesus well.
Right here, focusing on the help of the Holy Spirit, we prepared a prayer book to encourage ‘prayer filled with the Holy Spirit’ and shared it through morning prayer and text messages on KakaoTalk for 70 days.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.
The life that began with the desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit was a life lived under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The prayers included here allowed for prayer fellowship with them, so they could pray with the same lips and heart for 70 days.
Sharing our morning prayers continues even now.
I am grateful to those who have prayed and fellowshiped with me through the publication of this book.
