Into the book
A few years ago, as I started drawing hanbok, I naturally began to wonder about it one by one.

"Am I drawing this accurately?" "What is the name of this hanbok?" "When, where, and who wore it?"

However, finding the information I needed was not as easy as I thought.
I wasn't sure which book to buy, and even when I searched the Internet, I didn't know what to search for or where to search, so I was at a loss.

As I continued to draw pictures with a steady interest in Hanbok, I collected one or two books and gradually increased my knowledge. However, some books were too academic, some too broad, and some lacked images... I always felt a sense of regret.

I thought it would be nice to be able to learn the basic structure and types of hanbok, as well as a brief historical background, at a glance in one book.
So, even though it was lacking, I decided to try making it myself, and that was the beginning of “The Story of Hanbok Drawn by Obsidian.”

I hope that through this book, not only those who are trying to draw hanbok for the first time, but also those who are simply curious about hanbok, can easily approach and learn about hanbok.
