Book Introduction
A new series of central hymns that always glorifies God!
The main characteristics of this 39th album are that the proportion of works by Korean composers has increased somewhat, and that it is composed of praises of various genres, such as classical music, black spirituals, hymns, and modern choir, just like the previous series.
I hope that the Central Hymn will be used as a precious tool to further praise God, the Lord of our lives, and to communicate with Him.
I hope that this book will serve as a starting point for conductors and orchestra members preparing the oratorio Elijah, as well as for audiences who wish to actively participate in the performance, to gain a deeper understanding of the story that Mendelssohn and the librettist Schwering were trying to convey.
