Book Introduction
Munhakdongne Youth Literature Award Grand Prize Winner
Hwangbo Na's serial novel "Name Sticker"

“No one is questioning me,
“If it’s a relationship where you don’t even push me away, it’s so warm.”

The first novel collection by author Hwangbo Na, winner of the 14th Munhakdongne Youth Literature Award for “Name Sticker.”
Hwang Bo-na is a writer who “respects not only the readers of novels but also the youth as the main characters of the works” (Song Su-yeon, children’s and youth literature critic) and has been praised for her “attitude of not judging the lives of the characters in her works arbitrarily” (Yoon Seong-hee, novelist), establishing her position as a trustworthy writer of youth literature.
Following "Name Sticker," he once again thoughtfully portrays the inner turmoil and minority nature of teenagers, while also talking about taking a step closer to oneself in relationships.
The youth in the work sometimes lean on someone to find a place to rest, and sometimes they fill each other's empty spaces and face themselves.
This is a series of novels titled “Seven Greens” that paints the hearts of those who have lost their colors in green.

"Seven Greens" brightens the hearts of children who were cowering in their own worries.
Hee-yeon, who spends her summer vacation at her grandmother's house with dementia, feeling uneasy; Soo-hyeon, who accidentally sets fire to the school and worries that she will ruin everything; Da-eun, who cannot let go of her suspicions about her father and ends up following someone; Jin-sol, who builds a new relationship out of curiosity about her uncle; Seung-mi, who starts practicing dating to win love; Seong-min, who worries about how to express his feelings to the people he loves before immigrating; and Howon, who experiences the mysterious 'magic of dreams and time' when doing what he loves. This story embraces the colorful hearts of seven children, taking care of each other, and making them look forward to tomorrow.

A heart dyed green
A slightly lighter rhythm

"Seven Greens" tells a diverse story representing young people who face an avalanche of emotions such as love, excitement, hope, regret, and anxiety.
Hee-yeon from "Like a Bag", who ends up going to her grandmother's house due to her parents' discord, orders delivery food every day to avoid eating with her grandmother, and Su-hyeon from "Fruit-flavored Jelly", who confessed her feelings to the person she likes, feels suffocated when her sincerity is ignored.
Da-eun from "Blue One Piece" is distorted by her disappointment in her father and tries to cross the line, Jin-sol from "Green Socks", who carries a secret, punishes herself for the guilt that has overcome her, and Seung-mi from "The Truth of Lies" begins to practice dating under false pretenses in order to win the heart of Je-woo, whom she likes.
Seong-min, who has to emigrate in "Hail and Greetings," tries to say hello to Seung-mi, recalling the shadow play he did with her when he was young, and Ho-won, who dropped out of school and now works at a convenience store in "The Magic of Dreams and Time," feels a surge of excitement when he runs into the school kids who treated him like a toy.

Their anxious hearts slowly dilute and become lighter as they meet someone who neither pushes them away nor questions them.
Hee-yeon, who discovered a bag as spacious as her grandmother's arms, realizes that her grandmother has been taking good care of her, and Yoon-seon's gaze, which looks at the other person as they are rather than questioning or criticizing them, gradually opens Soo-hyeon's heart.
As the misunderstanding about her father is resolved, a small hope seeps in and cuts through Da-eun's tangled heart. Jin-sol, who has become interested in the existence that her family has erased from their relationships, spends special time with him. Je-woo's announcement to stop practicing love makes Seung-mi think about what her true feelings were.

In each moment where affectionate gazes and comfort intersect, children gradually build themselves up.
“Just by opening up, I feel like the edges of my tightly closed stomach are melting away” (“Like a Bag”), and I keep the waves of my heart spreading gently, and I end up leaning towards a better side.
As if preparing to give another person a comfortable place to stay, just like the heart they had been given, they sat on chairs side by side, “each shaking their bodies in a similar direction” (“Blue One Piece”).
