Description
Book Introduction
Hoping that obedience will become a 'push with the Lord'
Missionary Im Eun-mi, who has been waking up at 4 a.m. every day for 27 years without fail to meditate, records the grace and inspiration of the Holy Spirit she receives each day in writing and audio, and shares it with over 80,000 people.
Through this meditation and prayer, missionary Im Eun-mi was able to understand and obey God's word every day, and live it out as if writing down the words in Acts 29.
This book passionately testifies that every moment of missionary Im Eun-mi's life, from the moment she first believed in Jesus, to the day of her conversion, to her entry into seminary, to her being sent to Kenya, to the amazing works God performed when she obeyed, to the story of raising her children in faith, was under God's good protection and guidance, and that God worked powerfully through her humility and obedience.
The beautiful life of obedience shown by missionary Im Eun-mi had a positive influence on many Christians.
You can also find the sincere and heartwarming testimonies of those who, following missionary Im Eun-mi's example, lived a life of obedience and experienced God's love and grace through that life of obedience in the essay section of this book.
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in truth” (3 John 1:4)
Just as missionary Im Eun-mi hopes that the word 'obedience' will become a 'push with the Lord' that touches our hearts intimately rather than a word that burdens our hearts, I am confident that everyone who reads this book will be challenged to live a life of obedience and become an 'ambassador of Christ' who pleases God every day.

Into the book
After reading Jesus' words to the rich young man that day, who told him to sell everything and follow him, my husband and I started walking around the neighborhood.
As I looked up at the sky, stars twinkled above the high-rise apartment building where we live.
At that time, God poured out great grace.
‘All is vanity, vanity of vanities, vanity of vanities… .
'Our lives are like those of travelers.' When I thought that, I felt no regret or sorrow about leaving everything behind and going to Africa.
So we decided to leave for Africa.
--- From "Part 1_When Obedience Was Unfamiliar"
“Eunice!”
“Who is it? Are you calling me?”
The moment I asked this question, the Holy Spirit said this.
“When people call, you sometimes don’t hear them properly and ask, ‘Huh?’ or ‘Are you calling me?’ But how can you consistently hear the voice of God speaking? That’s arrogant of you.
It is arrogance to think that you always hear God's voice.
Who are you to always hear God's voice? You can't! Then shouldn't you say you didn't hear correctly? And then listen again? People ask each other, "Did you call me?"
“How much more so if you misunderstand what God is saying and say, ‘I won’t listen to God’s voice anymore!’ Isn’t that arrogant?” After that, I began to hear God’s voice again.
--- From "Part 2_When Obedience Becomes Familiar"
Rather than burdening myself with burdens, I need to be even more grateful to God for placing me in this position! Rather than being overconfident because I believe I have abilities, I need to be even more grateful to God for using me even when I lack them.
I think the size of that gratitude is the secret to the confidence that comes from a mother.
Of course, we must be people with a clear conscience before God so that we can be confident in who we meet, but I think that confidence when working is something else.
Rather than comparing myself to others, I think that the attitude of first thanking God for choosing me will give me that kind of confidence.
Comparing yourself to others will only lead to constant disappointment.
So, you have to stay true to the essence.
The essence is realizing that "God loves me!" To teach that lesson, God creates various environments.
So you shouldn't focus on that environment.
Through that, I must learn that ‘God’ loves me.”
--- From “Part 3_Meditation on Words that Help Obedience”
The best day ever! Thank you for always telling me that it's not necessarily the best day because something great happened, but because God, the best, gave it to me as a gift.
I repented of the past when I thought that only visible good things would prove that God loved me and blessed me. I will always praise the greatest God who gave me each day as a gift.
I will try harder to live so that I can get back up when I fall.
--- From "Part 4_The Fruit of Obedience"
Anyone who reads the prayer enclosed in the mask will automatically pray to receive Jesus.
Some may say, 'What kind of welcoming prayer is just reading it?' But I have seen many people who, even if they did not believe, followed this 'prayer' and later received it.
So I am convinced that the power of salvation can come through the name of Jesus alone.

Publisher's Review
Realizing the essence of faith through obedience
"Obedience isn't hard! Once you get used to it, disobedience becomes difficult!"
Contrary to missionary Im Eun-mi's cry, we often listen to the flashy sounds of the world rather than the voice of God, and sometimes we pretend not to hear the gentle voice of God calling us.
All Christians naturally dream of a life of obedience, but many say they don't know how to live it.
However, the secret of obedience confessed by missionary Im Eun-mi is simple enough that anyone can easily follow it.
“Do what God tells you to do, don’t do what He tells you not to do, and reject in the name of Jesus any thoughts other than those you should have.
Just live a simple, clean and pure life.
“Blessed are those who obey the word in this way.”
According to this book, God's word is always positive and makes us love God more.
Therefore, even if you obeyed God's voice, if you distance yourself from God and your faith is destroyed through that action, then it is not a voice from God.
On the other hand, even if you are not sure if it is God's voice, if through obedience you come to love God more and help your neighbors realize God's love, then it is definitely a voice from God.
To become 'the one God seeks,' one needs wise discernment and the ability to obey God's word.
If you follow the footsteps of missionary Im Eun-mi's obedience through this book, you will soon discover yourself focusing on God's voice and taking courageous steps of obedience.
