Into the book
I can say no.
It's okay to refuse.
You can say no.
You can refuse.
--- From "Encouragement Card No. 5"

I see.
I may not know everything about you, but I will try to understand you.

--- From "30 Encouragement Cards"

Before I can't do it, let's not do it.
→ After that, it's worth a try.
It'll be easy once you actually try it.

--- From "Encouragement Card No. 33"

Before you ignore me.
Look at my chest.
→ After all, it's just one possibility.
That friend's behavior
There may be other reasons.
--- From "Encouragement Card No. 34"

Publisher's Review
Even students who are shy about speaking directly can speak without any pressure through cards.
A set of "Encouragement Cards" and "Self-Esteem Class Activity Sheets"

I like this point
1 Use safely and sturdily with rounded corners and a tin case.
2 It's written in Korean and English, so I use it as an encouragement during English class.
3 Can be used as an image card
4 Self-Esteem Class Activity Sheets
You can receive online class materials at Cafe 5 (cafe.naver.com/jobcard).
6 Even if the child cannot read, ask them to pick a picture they like, and then have the teacher or parent read it to them.

Recommended situation
1. When creating an atmosphere of praise and encouragement
2 When there are many students who are embarrassed and have difficulty expressing themselves
3 When your student or child is irritated or upset
4. When opening and closing a consultation or conversation

Usage examples
1 Encouragement a Day
When no one understands my heart, when I feel frustrated and upset, pull out the “Encouragement Card.”
If you do this for 5 minutes every day, the phrases will become ingrained in your mouth and you will become accustomed to giving encouraging words.

2. Reading the Minds of Children and Students
If you have children, try telling them about your day, starting with your parents, as if you were playing a card game in bed at night.
When children tell you about something that made them upset, have them choose the “encouragement card” they want to hear, and read it to them in a warm voice while calling their name.
If you have more than one child, one can tell what upset them and the other can choose an encouragement card and read it.
When I talk about it, my mind feels refreshed and relieved.

3 Ice Breaking
〈Encouragement Cards〉 are good for opening up conversations because they contain many warm, positive words and no words that criticize others.
If you refuse to even talk, you can just pick the picture you want.
It's a simple method, but it puts your mind at ease in no time.
Use it when you want to ease the awkward and stiff atmosphere in a lecture, consultation, or meeting.

4. Pat pat encouragement card game
After drawing an “encouragement card,” you meet a partner and play rock-paper-scissors.
The winner is encouraged to enter the contents of the opponent's card first.
After the person who lost continues, they meet another friend and repeat 3 to 5 times.
Make sure you never meet a friend again once you've met them.
I like meeting one-on-one, making eye contact, and greeting each other in the morning with encouragement.

5. Create an Encouragement Card
If you are familiar with using the 〈Encouragement Card〉, think about the words you want to hear, the words that made you the happiest and best, and write them down on colored paper.
If you draw a picture, you can complete your own encouragement card.

6. Make an Encouragement Card Mobile
Refer to the “Encouragement Card” and write down your favorite phrase on a piece of paper about the size of a business card.
I attach the encouragement cards my friends and I made to string and hang them on the classroom or home windows.

7 Positive Language Projects
When you want to change your child's language use in a positive way, or when they say they can't think of words of encouragement, use the "Encouragement Cards."
Adults also need examples to become familiar with encouraging expressions.

8. Use of the Self-Esteem Class Activity Sheet
Try the “Words You Want to Hear Game,” “Words You Don’t Want to Hear Game,” and “Making Self-Encouragement Cards” in the activity sheet.
If there are multiple students in the class and you have used up the activity sheet, you can receive it for free from the cafe's resource room.
