A fun set of math puzzles for gifted children
A fun set of math puzzles for gifted children
Description
Book Introduction
It is largely composed of a problem section, an answer section, and an explanation section.
The problem section contains 100 fun math puzzles by topic, including logic, masked mountains, and geometry, while the solution section provides detailed and logical model answers.
Rather than just providing answers, we have included a separate explanation section to easily introduce the mathematical meaning and general theory behind the problems.
The resting page provides detailed information on the history and figures of recreational mathematics, as well as misconceptions, and provides correct information.
The original two volumes were organized by difficulty level, but in the revised edition, they were organized by topic like Volume 1 to add unity and convenience.

Publisher's Review
Learn the true fun of math through puzzles, a work of art for the brain!
Korea's representative best-selling math puzzle
A popular work by Professor Park Bu-seong, recognized as Korea's best math puzzle expert!

The revised editions of Volumes 1 and 2 of "Fun Math Puzzles for Gifted Students," Korea's representative math puzzle book celebrating its 10th anniversary, have been published.
As time passed, information changed, and the cover was updated.
At the time of its first publication, most math puzzle books on the market were translations of foreign books from Japan, the United States, and other countries, and were often incorrect or did not fit the Korean sensibilities.
But 『Fun Math Puzzles for Gifted Students』 was different.
The author, Park Bu-seong, was a puzzler who enjoyed and created puzzles with great experts on the riddle bulletin board of the PC communication service HiTel, the puzzle bulletin board of the KIDS bbs (Quiz Wit), and the newsgroup rec.puzzles since 1989, and the content was also unique and presented by such an author.

『Fun Math Puzzles for Gifted Students』 is largely composed of problems, solutions, and explanations.

The original two volumes were organized by difficulty level, but in the revised edition, they were organized by topic like Volume 1 to add unity and convenience.

The puzzles in this book are composed of problems that stimulate readers' interest and curiosity, such as nonsense and twenty questions, while also requiring logical and mathematical thinking skills.
Just tackling a given puzzle will provide mathematical excitement and enjoyment, but the process of learning the mathematical basis for the solution and explanation will also be interesting.
We encourage you to dive into the joy of mathematical puzzles, the art of the brain.
