Description
Book Introduction
A word from MD
[Happiness is Everywhere] A picture book depicting moments of happiness that can be found in everyday life, such as a smile shared while running at dawn, a leisurely cup of coffee, or a snowball fight with a cat.
Rather than enduring today's misfortunes in the hope of finding grand happiness, this book allows you to appreciate the small but solid moments of happiness felt in each moment and their preciousness.
- Ahn Hyun-jae, art producer
A sparkling illustrator chosen by the New York Times, Google, and The Guardian,
Charlotte Ager's independent publication "Small Pleasure for Big Hearts" is now available.

Feel the joy in her first official picture book, which 170,000 followers have been waiting for!

Are you happy now?

Think back to a time when you were happiest.
When was that? How happy were you? Are you still as happy now? Come to think of it, "happiness" seems like nothing more than a fleeting emotion.
What if we could experience happiness more often? Five seconds for the light smile shared on a morning jog, ten seconds for the morning sun breaking through the clouds, three minutes for the warm sip of a cup of tea, fifteen minutes for a focused book, twenty seconds for the touch of grass between our fingers on a park walk, fifteen seconds for a staring contest with a cat, maybe 47 seconds…
In every moment of our daily lives, we accumulate 5, 10, and 30 seconds. Today, 3 minutes, tomorrow, 5 minutes, and the day after, 7 minutes! If we fully experience and remember the happiness that passes by us every day, wouldn't today and tomorrow be happier?

Are you looking for happiness?

Where can we find happiness? Paradoxically, when happiness becomes our life's goal, we will be unhappy.
A life of enduring today's unhappiness in the hope that one day one will find great happiness will be undeniably sad.
Stop searching for vague happiness and focus on every moment of your daily life.
Embrace the small but solid happiness of everyday life by embracing yourself and the things that surround you, including your thoughts, your friends' hearts, and the circumstances around you.

Publisher's Review
Editorial log

As a self-publishing company owner, my daily routine involves creating books or looking for books to create.
Fortunately, there are so many beautiful books in the world that there is no time to be bored.
When I first learned about Charlotte Ager through social media a few years ago, my heart was pounding.
Many people took notice of her, who produced small quantities of works and published them only through independent publications.
A whopping 170,000 people, including readers, famous authors, and publishers.
As one of them, I was particularly drawn to this book.
I wanted to present this book, which depicts the small, solid happiness in everyday life, to myself and to you, who are moving away from happiness.
Along with the publication of the Korean edition, I offered her the official worldwide rights, and she readily agreed.
Creating an ISBN edition while maintaining the appeal of an independent publication turned out to be more challenging and difficult than I thought.
It took six months just for translation and proofreading, and a full year for design and production.
But every moment I spent thinking about this book over the past year was fulfilling and strangely happy.
As Aristotle said, happiness depends on ourselves.
I hope that my readers will always be happy.
Small but solid!
