The number of students knocking on the doors of career counseling centers is increasing every year.

“I wonder what my aptitude is.”, “Which school (field) should I go to?”, “What departments are there in college?”, “Which department should I go to to achieve my dream?”

As a career guidance and academic guidance teacher, I have counseled countless students, and I have often felt dissatisfied because I felt like I was only providing superficial and fragmentary information about career paths and academic advancement.
There is so much information out there, it's not easy to connect it all into one thread.
I wanted to provide practical assistance to students in creating their own roadmap that encompasses both career path and academic advancement.

『Na·Jin·Ga』 is a book born from the earnest desires of teachers.

This book is organized into seven fields: humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, medicine, arts and physical education, and education. It introduces 20 representative occupations for each field and the departments related to each occupation.
It is designed to provide a more in-depth understanding of each career and subject, and to help you develop a practical career plan.

Starting in the 2025 school year, the high school credit system will be implemented in all high schools.
In keeping with this trend, we also provide elective courses (general electives, career electives, and convergence electives) that will help students choose their major, as well as a list of recommended books to help expand their major knowledge.
In addition, in preparation for the 'Comprehensive Student Selection', we provided detailed information on what kind of school life would be effectively linked to advancement in areas such as attendance, autonomous and self-governing activities, club activities, career activities, academic learning development status, reading activities, behavioral development characteristics, and overall opinions.

As the saying goes, "Even beads need to be strung to be valuable," the vast amount of information about career paths and academic advancement will be of no use if you can't sort through it and organize it well.
『Na·Jin·Ga』 is a book that collects various pieces of information into one and organizes them into content that is essential for our students.
This book is helpful to middle school students who are planning their high school life and exploring their desired majors and careers in advance, high school students who need to make concrete preparations by making practical career plans, and the teachers who guide them.
In a future society where our students will stand tall as the main characters, "professional abilities" will become more important than qualifications and academic background.
Based on this book, middle school students should develop the career skills to understand and explore their aptitudes and interests, and in high school, they should further develop their career skills to find the department that best suits them.
Choosing the right major for you leads to choosing a career that will allow you to fully utilize your abilities.
The 'department' and 'job' you choose through this process will become a stepping stone to becoming a happy and competent professional in the professional world.

It is said that 'a person who dreams for a long time eventually becomes like that dream.'
We hope that our students will catch two birds with one stone – ‘career path’ and ‘advancement’ – through ‘Na·Jin·Ga’ and achieve their dreams.
