Into the book
The length of time depends on how you think about it, and the narrowness and breadth of space depends on how you think about it.
That is why a person with a leisurely mind feels more spacious and a day longer than a thousand years, and a person with a broad mind feels even a small room as wide as the gap between heaven and earth.

By reducing material desires, I cultivate flowers and plant bamboo, and all material desires disappear. By forgetting all distracting thoughts, I burn incense and brew tea, and I am not concerned about anything.

If you know how to be content with the reality before you, that is the world of the immortals. If you don't know how to be content, it is just a world full of desires.
If you use all the connections in the world well, life will be full everywhere, but if you do not use them well, life will be full everywhere.

The disasters brought about by clinging to power are terribly disastrous and come quickly, but the feeling of peace and tranquility without greed is truly simple and lasts a long time.

I was walking alone, leaning on my cane, by the stream in a pine-covered valley, and suddenly stopped to see clouds rising from my torn clothes. I was lying comfortably with a book as my pillow under a bamboo-covered window, and suddenly woke up to find moonlight seeping into my worn-out blanket.
