World History and Chinese History: Storytelling with Sun Kim's Commentary

The flow of history that you remember without memorizing it
“If only I had learned world history like this, my life would have been different!”

There is absolutely no history book more interesting than this!
As you read along, the flow of history will flow into your head without any hesitation!
A special world history and Chinese history class with a genius storyteller.

· Did the sinking of the Titanic lead to America's entry into World War I?
· Hitler wasn't German?
· How did Emperor Suyang end up destroying the Sui Dynasty?
· Did the Imjin War lead to the fall of the Ming Dynasty?

My curiosity turned to finding the connections between historical events that we had memorized in fragments.
The results were astonishing.
Not to mention the correlation between World War I and World War II, the sinking of the Titanic led to the United States' participation in World War I, which in turn influenced Korea's March 1st Movement, which in turn influenced China's May 4th Movement, leading to the founding of the Communist Party. We discovered the "butterfly effect of history."
The history of tail chasing tail began to come into view.
- From the prologue of 『Sun Kim's Unstoppable World History』

Into the book
The more Hitler served in the military, the more satisfied he became.
I even came to love the military.
Even Hitler later wrote this in his autobiography:
“The Western Front battlefield felt like home.
“It was the most brilliant moment of my life.”
You might think that this is crazy, but if you think about Hitler's situation at the time, it seems like such a statement was possible.
He moved to Germany because he couldn't adapt in his home country of Austria, but the path of becoming an architecture student became more and more distant, and he was living a 'loser' life' with no other job, no money, and even homeless people, so to Hitler, the military was 'an organization that recognized the more you ran.'

---From "Sun Kim's Unstoppable World History" Hitler enlists in the German Army, p. 87

After capturing Iwo Jima and completing the bombing raid on Tokyo, the US military developed a plan to move closer to the mainland.
It was the occupation of Okinawa.
Okinawa is located below Kyushu, Japan.
If the US military occupied Okinawa, the occupation of Kyushu, Japan would be a piece of cake, and if Kyushu fell to the US military, the occupation of mainland Japan would become a fait accompli.
April 1, 1945.
The US military begins its operation to occupy Okinawa with a large force of 550,000 troops.
About 120,000 Japanese soldiers stationed in Okinawa fought against the American forces, prepared to die.
In particular, all Japanese soldiers are prepared to 'die to their death'.
It was an absurd statement that meant 'to break beautifully like jade', meaning to die beautifully while fighting for the Emperor.
---From "The Battle of Okinawa and the Kamikaze Special Attack Forces, Sun Kim's Unstoppable World History, p. 208"

But the problem is! It's not clear exactly who these Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors are.
In some regions and among some people, the Samhwang and Ohje are called 'who, who' and in other regions, the Samhwang and Ohje are called 'so-and-so, so-and-so'.
In short, it is definitely not organized.
Besides, it's confusing whether they are gods or humans.
It was so bad that in the first Chinese history book, the Records of the Grand Historian, written by Sima Qian during the Han Dynasty in BC, the first part of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, the era of the Three Sovereigns, was boldly deleted.
At the time, Sima Qian was not sure about the 'Five Emperors' part in the latter part, but he thought that the 'Three Emperors' part in the former part was too exaggerated and not properly organized to be included in the official history.
---From "The Age of Myths, pp. 17-18" in "Sun Kim's Unstoppable History of China"

However, contrary to expectations, Dong Zhuo's empire collapses due to internal rebellion.
Dong Zhuo had a bodyguard named Lu Bu, but he did not get along well with Dong Zhuo.
One time, Lu Bu even rapes Dong Zhuo's female servant, and after that, their relationship is on the verge of breaking up.
Then, Lu Bu ends up murdering Dong Zhuo.
i know.
This isn't the story you know, is it? You probably know that the beauty "Chochan" appears, and in the process of competing for her, Lu Bu kills his "adoptive father," Dong Zhuo.
That is a creative story that appears in the novel 『Romance of the Three Kingdoms』.
The woman named 'Cho-seon' is not a real person, but a fictional character.
