Linked education between early childhood education institutions and elementary schools
Linked education between early childhood education institutions and elementary schools
Description
Book Introduction
This textbook deeply covers the theory and practice of connected education based on the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum and the 2022 Revised Elementary School Curriculum, helping early childhood and elementary school teachers better understand the relevant curriculum and educational practices, and further promoting the substantiation of connected education.
First, from a theoretical perspective, we looked at the necessity of linked education, foreign linked education, the current state and improvement plans of linked education in Korea, 'play' as developmentally appropriate education emphasized in the two curricula, and the connection between the 2019 revised Nuri Curriculum and the 2022 revised elementary school curriculum.
In terms of practical linkage, we compared and examined the teaching methods and educational environments of two educational institutions currently being implemented in the field of education, and finally introduced various early childhood education programs that can be utilized for linked education in elementary school settings.
