Art therapy techniques for clinical application
Description
Book Introduction
When I think back to my early days as a therapist, I was constantly pondering questions like, "What materials would be effective?" and "What techniques should I use to approach my clients?" and flipping through countless books. Each time, I felt a severe lack of resources that could provide appropriate help.
Thus, the authors prepared this book in clinical practice for a long time.
After numerous discussions and therapeutic verification with clients, we have tried to organize art therapy techniques so that they can be easily understood and applied in clinical settings.
I published this book with the hope that it will help alleviate the concerns and difficulties of clients who are wondering which techniques can effectively achieve their therapeutic goals.
The techniques in this book are organized by client type and the necessary materials for each technique are specifically presented.
In addition, we have tried to reduce the difficulties that therapists and counselors who use this book have in applying it in actual clinical settings by describing in detail the target of application, application period, work process, and points to note for therapists.
In particular, one technique was modified and added in a simplified form as a 'modified technique'.
It is expected to be even more useful as it can be applied by therapists and counselors according to various clinical settings and client characteristics.
