Physical Education for the Elderly
Description
Book Introduction
This book was written as a textbook for the certification exam for those aspiring to become senior sports instructors. It is divided into five parts: aging, the effects of exercise for the elderly, design of exercise programs for the elderly, design of exercise programs for each disease of the elderly, and effective guidance by instructors, which are essential topics that senior sports instructors should know. We all grow old. I would like to express my gratitude and respect to the senior sports instructors who spare no time and effort for the elderly, and I hope that this book will be of great help in your work as a senior sports instructor. As a senior sports instructor, I hope to contribute to improving the quality of life of seniors in Korea by teaching scientific and systematic sports and physical activities, and to play a leading role in creating a world where we can all live together. |
