Renewable energy generation system (solar power) engineering
Description
Book Introduction
Until now, the Industrial Revolution has been all about increasing productivity based on the development and use of energy.
The Fifth Industrial Revolution (Industry 5.0) is ushering in an era of metacognitive biotechnology development based on resources and the environment, in a metaverse world where humans and robots are partners and generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology can control evolved risks.
If we rely solely on traditional fossil fuels to meet the massive energy demands of this era, we will be unable to solve serious problems such as global warming and environmental pollution.

Engineers, who have the responsibility to pass on a clean and healthy global environment to future generations, have the mission to produce and distribute clean energy sources that can replace fossil fuels without shortage.

To promote the development, research, and utilization of alternative energy, the country has established a compliance system for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, including the enactment of the "Act on Promotion of Development, Use, and Distribution of New and Renewable Energy" and the "Basic Act on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth for Climate Crisis Response." As a partner in the international community, Korea is striving to protect the global environment, fulfilling its responsibility as such.

The author has already provided fragmented knowledge in the field of renewable energy to students and engineers, but hopes that this knowledge will be conveyed, shared, and utilized by a wider range of stakeholders, providing practical assistance in the production and use of clean energy.
Therefore, we have published a new third revised edition by citing various sources and consulting with experts to address the shortcomings in the previous edition.
We hope that this book will serve as the ultimate guide to understanding renewable energy and be used by students in related departments and as a reference for national technical qualification exams.
Additionally, if there are any shortcomings or unexpected errors during the writing process, please let us know so we can correct them. We will continuously improve this book to ensure it remains a worthy textbook on renewable energy engineering.
