2026 Metal Materials Engineer Written Exam
2026 Metal Materials Engineer Written Exam
Description
Book Introduction
The metal industry is an important field that serves as the foundation for all industrial fields, including machinery, aircraft, automobiles, construction, and electrical and electronic engineering, and metal material technology has played a major role in the development of industrial technology.

In particular, with the advancement of industrial technology, the scope of its use is expanding in various ways due to the development of metal material technology with new characteristics and economic feasibility.
The author, recognizing that this must be resolved through the talents of field technicians and engineering students working in this field, has endeavored to create a guidebook that can serve as a guide for engineering students and field workers specializing in this field, drawing on his many years of experience in guiding and training engineering students.

As the scope of the Metal Materials Engineer examination system expanded in 2010 by integrating the Metal Materials Engineer (Materials Field) and Metal Materials Engineer (Processing Field) into the Metal Materials Engineer, it can be said that the examination became more difficult.

This book is designed to be a guide for engineering students who wish to study for the Metal Materials Engineer exam, and to be widely used as a preparatory book for test takers preparing for the National Technical Qualification Examination. Based on the test criteria for the Metal Materials Engineer exam, it has been compiled into three parts: Part 1 Metal Materials Science, Part 2 Metallographic Structure, Part 3 Metallurgical Engineering, Part 4 Metalworking Engineering, and Part 5 Surface Engineering, along with key points, expected questions, and previous questions in preparation for the first written exam. In addition, Part 6 includes the first written exam problems as an appendix.
In addition, the book focuses on providing in-depth explanations for each problem by reinforcing the summary of key points by subject and unit, such as basic theory and theoretical knowledge required for field practice, and covers everything from basic to advanced level problems. Therefore, if you thoroughly understand the contents of this book, it will be of great help in the metal materials engineer exam.

I hope that this book will be of great help to engineering students and field workers studying metal materials engineering, and will also serve as a guideline for students preparing for the national technical qualification examination.
