The Yeonhui-dong cooking class 'Gourmet Lebkuhen' attracts numerous students every month.
People of all ages, genders, and occupations, with diverse personalities, come together to enjoy eating, drinking, and learning to cook.
When I first thought about creating a cookbook with Ms. Hideko, the first topic that came to mind was "snacks to go with alcohol."
There was always a constant supply of delicious drinks and snacks in the teacher's kitchen and dining table.


Four Seasons Drinking Snacks with Hideko
Hideko's Four Seasons Snacks will be published in four volumes, starting with the beer edition published last summer, and continuing with the second series, 『Autumn: Sake Edition』, covering winter and spring. As the title suggests, it introduces alcohol and snacks suitable for each season.
How about savoring not only Japanese cuisine, but also dishes from various countries like Spain and Korea, all with a glass of sake? This book brings together 40 dishes perfectly paired with sake, including menus inspired by Ms. Hideko's childhood memories of Japan, along with dishes that range from Spanish to Korean cuisine.
Also included are 40 domestically distributed sakes carefully selected by sake expert Kim Sang-cheol.

From the early autumn when the weather suddenly turns cool to the late autumn when a chilly wind blows, I hope that a warm meal and a glass of sweet sake can comfort your heart.
Although the number of people seeking sake has increased in Korea recently, I hope that sake, which is still an unfamiliar drink, will become more approachable through this book.
