Mother puma 'Purangi' and 11-year-old boy 'Eoksae'
Beautiful friendship and parting
The 11-year-old boy, 'Eoksae', was reminded of his late father as soon as he saw the puma, 'Purangi'.
My father was a documentary filmmaker who filmed wild animals, and I remembered a documentary he had filmed just before he passed away called 'Puma's Dream.'
The reeds looked at the fragmented sky, swaying and rippling in the soft, affectionate eyes of Purangi.
Purangi was able to see the vast fields, a place he had never been to before, thanks to the peculiar child, Eoksae, who kept coming to him.
The reed told the puma that he was the fastest puma in the world, and Purangi wanted to run faster than anyone else across the wide field with his cubs.
And these two gradually became closer and became friends.
Even when Eoksae had a big fight with her friend and when she felt like crying because she thought of her father, she went to see Purang.
Even though I couldn't talk about my dad in front of others, I was able to honestly tell my story and my dad's story in front of Purang.
Eoksae wanted to go see Purangi every day, and Purangi waited for Eoksae every day.
But one day, the door to the cage where Purangi and her puppies lived happened to be open.
The zookeeper who was cleaning us accidentally left the door unlocked.
Purangi took a step forward without thinking.
Not knowing that that one step would be the beginning of a separation from the reeds and their children.
“Hey, Reed, I’m running!”
Thinking about where the puma should be
The puma accidentally came out of the cage and was chased by people.
I had no choice but to run away in fear, not knowing what I had done wrong.
It was a short time, less than a few hours in human time, but it was a long time for Purangi, who was trembling in fear.
Eoksae couldn't even enter the zoo, and had to wait for news of the puma, stamping her feet.
I prayed that he would return safely to his children, but… … .
The puma was eventually killed.
Puma exhaled his last breath and saw himself running powerfully.
Under the bright sunlight, I was running with my pups as fast as the wind and light.
'Hey, look at this.
I'm running! I'm running with joy and excitement!'
There is no life in this world that does not need to be happy.
Just because they are animals living in a zoo doesn't mean they can't see the sky in pieces their whole lives.
Every living being born in this world has its own place, and every living being dreams.
